Is this "the" basic sum up of democrats and republicans? Or is there another basic sum up of the 2?

Democrats are for the poor. Republicans are for the rich.

But which side appeals to you more? And why? (I think some people don't make everything about their financial status as to why they favor one over the other.)

Well, I'm not rich. Therefore democrats appeal to me more. So I'd prefer one of them as P.O.T.U.S. over a republican as one. How about you?

No. Not accurate.

Dems want to stick their hand in your wallet, Reps want to stick their nose in your business.

They both suck.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. I think it's more than just:monopoly:vs :begger:
I've been a registered, and voting Democrat since I was 18.:hippie:
I've voted for a few Republicans over the years, including this one in 1993.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_Todd_Whitman#Governor_of_New_Jersey
Also voted for an Independent or 3.

I've been poor and successful over the years,(not really rich).
For me, generally speaking, Dems are more for middle/lower class,
are more environmentally friendly, more socially conscious, and probably less racist.:smirk::shitstorm:

They also tend to be more 420 friendly, for those of you here who only vote when that's on the ballot,
though I suspect that most(<51%) of the active posters here don't even vote or aren't old enough. :crankshitshower:
