lolz yeah. I've been around for a while. My member number was much lower before the first server nose dive.
Despite that oats are new to me. I'm stoked to find additional materials to use. Diversity is the key. The simplicity of these teks is great.

do you remember the 3 picture per week upload limit on the forum? man that made teks take 3 months to post. i could seriously only upload 1 image a week at times. those were the slow days. "dial up".

Eat, calm down. Dial up is a forgotten word. You may end up starting the return of it. Hipsters would think it's cool. Lots of 90's babies around...

That sounds horrible. I threw this together in like a day. Granted it didn't require as many pictures as I used but that only furthers the point.

indeed it was. i had this huge dub tub thread in 03. but i couldn't upload images except once a week to show people how to do it. it pissed me off so much i kind of never came on this forum. so i didn't update the thread until several years later. technology... i think that thread took 2-3 years for me to post it. now all those images can be uploaded in one click of a button.
my first dial up session in 96 took 30 minutes for 1/3 of the picture to load. and made this really loud annoying connecting noise for about 20 minutes before it would login to the internet.

I came home with a Packard-Bell XT, turned it on and was greeted with C:>_ Now, what was I to do with that? These days you turn on your computer and it is no more complicated than opening the fridge. Back then, if you knew DOS, you were a god.
Shrooming is kinda similar, don't you think?
