THIS is what consolidation looks like! [DubTub] [Casing]

Here is a 6qt tub that was fully colonized on day 4 but I let it consolidate further into this. Substrate is Hpoo/straw, and the casing layer is 50/50 peat and verm. As soon as I added the casing layer, I added my polyfill (super tight at the bottom, looser on top)
I used tape to hold the two bins tohether, which is fine. I just have to watch out and see how fast the casing dries out. I plan on misting whenever this happens, and fanning...regardless of if there are pins or not (doesn't matter if you fan the drops off and don't saturate the sub).
Anyways here's the pron:

Before the misting ^^^

Also, the search button is godly. When you search for something specific, mark the box "trusted cultivator" (even though there are plenty of people who know what they are doing who don't have the "trusted cultivator" tag) to weed out all of the nonsense. RR among many high posters are so knowledgeable. This is my first time growing, you better believe I read until my my head imploded..Every day, multiple times a day, etc. I say all that to say thank you! I appreciate those who give to others selflessly. Kudos to you all

Yes, I can see you have done your homework.

So with full consolidation you case and fruit right away?

You can do it however you want (let it colonize the casing) however I do it right away because I feel like the casing layer can provide a microclimate that way when you mist and fan the humidity stays right there. It's just the way I do it and it sounds right.
Sorry if that doesn't make sense. I'm pissed right now and I'm about to have a drink or 5

It's cool. I haven't consolidated or cased yet but want to try both on my next tubs. Maybe I'll do some side by sides and see which casing method I like better.
Thanks for the response.
