wild spores/yearly?

Ok so, There's a festival i go to every year. There is also an area NOBODY goes to, AT ALL. Is there some way to place spores there NOW, so they will be ready NEXT YEAR in the same spot (or relatively close) even if i have to bury them for now that's OK as long as the pop up around the same area. How could I have them survive the winter? I could easily put them there in the spring, but I'd rather not make a special trip.

No, it probably won't work. Best bet would be to actually go out there with a several jars of spawn and make an outdoor bed.
But why not just grow a large quantity at home, where you have control over environment, then bring a fat bag of dried fruits to the festival?

Where do you live? Have you ever grown P. Cubensis mushrooms? Have you ever made grain jars and spawned to bulk?
Depending on where you live, an outdoor bed may be very possible. However, simply spreading spores in an area will more than likely result in failure. read some outdoor grow logs on this site.

I just wasnt sure. and yes, i have done successful Agar->grain transfers, and i'm about to spawn my first tub in a day or two. No contams over 15 jars, or any of the agar whatsoever.

What do you mean by domesticated??
I have a spent substrate/contaminated substrate pile out back that does very nicely for itself.
All the strains are from people on this forum or from Isolates/Clones from tubs that started with MS syringes put to agar.

I thought there was a difference between wild spores and the lab ones we tend to receive and examine

Many of the commercial varieties have been isolated genetically, but there are a great number of people on here that experiment with wild varieties. Whether it is wild or purchased from a website, you said you have already done agar work, just start from there and then spawn to a bulk sub. tons of grow logs here doing outdoor magic.

there's a difference in every cube genetic. Some will prevail over others in 1 environment and the same won't in another. With a large amount of genetics it would work out just fine.
Also for outdoor stuff I'd stay away from grain spawn. It attracts animals, and you won't have much of a bed afterwards. Pf tek, or even grain slurries are better. Actually just having 1 jar you don't spawn, blend it up and mix it into a massive bed would be THE SHIT
