What size of square holes should I use for a 56Q monotub? & relevant questions

Long story short I don't own a power drill or hole saw and I'd rather just use a small dermal drill that has a cutting disk. What would be a good size for the holes? I would prefer the length in centimeters to be more exact, but inches would do just fine

1.5 inches I'd say.
You don't want them too big cause you can't fix that, but if they're too small you can make them bigger.
Even if it the hole was too big/small that would just mean some adjusting of the polyfill on your part.
But to answer your question, 1.5 inches should be good.

Awesome I'll try a 1.5x1.5 square cuts If I'm not mistaken. From what I can barely remember in spitballjedi's tek he said 4 bottom holes tightly stuffed 2 top holes barely stuffed.
I'm going to use a brick of coir & verm, get it to field capacity, add a cup of gypsum. Put it all in a big ol' jive turkey sized oven bag inside of a big pot filled with water and I'll make sure it stays at 140-160f for one hour. Anyone wanna give me some protips?

I've been too much of a lazy prick to go to the hardware store and get a buck/lid, but yeah I'll just use a bucket instead if it's what should be done. Thanks dude!

A holeless storage tote with lid serves the same purpose as a bucket when prepping coir.

Mmm I have another tote but it's like a 106Q not sure if that would work out so great, still that's a pretty good tip. It's pretty useful
