Need help with Chocolates
    #2198849 - 12/24/03 01:39 AM (13 years, 4 months ago)

Ok I've gotten the art of melting, mixing, and freezing chocolates down good.

Where I'm suffering is pouring the chocolates. I usually pour them into little piles. But they always turn into blobs with no shape.

How can I get them to have a nice shapes?

Use a mold. Molds can be anything that will hold their shape when the chocolate is poured in, from cookie cutters placed on a cookie sheet to a hand shaped piece of sturdy foil.

Got a question about a substance?  Erowid might already have your answer! Have questions about the  mushroom experience? The  Tripper's FAQ may have your answer or someone else might have had your question before.

eBay has everything from guns with bullets, to french fries everything you can think of. Cheap too.

Someone has also used gatorade measuring scoops to make nice smooth fatty coins ( coffee ones would prolly work too -- a small, small greasing of cooking spray and they pop out nice.

and soft plastic works - go to a hobby shop and anything for plaster will work for chocolate. Pros do the same thing.
