is it safe to use a food dehydrator at its lowest heat setting, 95 degrees? i can't turn the heat off, it heats automatically and simultaneously while it fans. will i lose significant potency at 95 degrees?

if you will take a razor and split the stems le aving them conected at the cap and spliting the stem down the middle you will see a huge differance in the speed of drying.

I've dried quite a few shrooms in my Nesco dehydrator with the heat set at 95. I've seen over ten different people, including myself, all trip balls taking average doses of shrooms dried at that temp.....so it seems to work just fine. Never had a problem with potency loss at all.

I use to use a old box fan turned upside down setting on top of a old keg. basicly it was a table with a fan to draw air thru the top.
I took off the back guard and put some cage wire over it and let the fan run sucking air past the mush.
It worked but the motor on the box fans would only last a few months running like that.

I've used a fan and air dried some fan is fast and less chance of rot, air drying does work, afer anything without a low temp heating element use something like dryright or silica gel, a dissecant
