Awesome! I recommended we keep the party of 5 that we started with.

Also I still haven't received an answer as to how we will be arranging the rules, just assume it's by the book for now until we get into it?

True, I'd like a little nature magic in our campaign as well. However my experience from DMing for so long is that 3 spellcasters can get a bit messy in one party.

Just my opinion, ThatKidWithTheFace will be the arbiter in that decision regardless.

Yeah, just assume Rules As Written unless told otherwise.

Now, that's not an invitation to Munchkin out on me, y'all

Hey guys. I agree first five are group one. If two groups is too much for you DM someone else volunteered to DM the second group. Might be more reasonable then Doing both yourself but your call.

Sorry if I am holding you guys up, I have been working 12 hour shifts and haven't been able to get my character sheet ready, but tomorrow is my day off and I promise I will do it first thing in the morning .

Then we can get started !

Thanks again to our DM and all who agreed to play. I am very very excited about this !

By the way, when I was running my DnD session here on the shroomery I made Andy add a random number generator for dice rolls onto the shroomery, let me see if I can find it.

Awesome! I was gonna use another forums dice-roller, but that's even better!

Also, no rush everybody, We're still gonna need a couple days to get everything situated.

And, Sara, if you wanna DM the other group that'd take a little weight off my shoulders, but I really don't mind if you want to play instead of DM.

Whatever's clever,
I'm used to DMing (4e atleast) and it's always been my favorite anyways.
The only problem I forsee is the days I'm off camping or at a festie but I'm sure we can make it work and winter is coming.

since I've already started on a character I'll finish fleshing him out
if someone is going to start a second game I'm down
if someone dies (in game) or is slowing down the game by not posting enough I'm willing to fill in there too
if neither of these things happen I'll try again next time one of these threads pop up (happens at least once a year)

I'll probably be lurking to see what happens to our 5 intrepid adventures
so just let me know

Personally I would prefer if saratonin was the DM for the second group and thatkid remains the DM for our initial five person group. I don't feel it's fair for one person to DM for two groups , either to the DM or the players,
And I don't think it's realistic either .

Let's keep our DM for our group and saratonin can put together a second group. I think that will work better all around.

Darn, sounds like you guys are at capacity. Can I join the other group interested in starting a campaign? I'm an utter noob, so I'm just catching coat-tails as they fly by!

I've been wanting to do this for a while though and do tons of role playing!

I hope we can have a group 2, I really want to play! I'd ask to join your next campaign, but idk how long they are, or if you guys will just play together again.
