What should I do to get started?
Write up a character using 32 point buy for abilities, use myth-weavers to host your sheet.
Oh, and I'll need links to all of your sheets.
How many players are there now?
And you'll all start with 1000gp to simplify things.

6 by my count, I think one dude jokingly said he missed his chance to make a Barbaric Paladin Mage.
Could be wrong though.

Okay, I think we should close recruiting for now. Everyone that's posted interest so far can play, but I think 6 or 7 is enough for now.

I see 3 options for rolling - honor system, everyone makes their own rolls (bound to be some number fudging) - DM rolls, DM makes all rolls for players (bound to be some story driven number fudging) - 3rd party, someone not playing a character makes all player rolls (could also be used as a referee to setting disputes)
it might also be possible to make a list of rolls in advance so that the rolls are determined before the game starts

Well I for one vote either DM rolls or honor system. Either way there will be fudging. It almost makes you wish there were some way to randomly generate numbers between 1-20...

It should definitely be DM rolls in my opinion, and I think we definite need to limit the number of players to five or so. If the DM says 6-7 is ok that's his call but definitely no more .
I will do my character sheet asap !
Like tonight after work .
Stoked! Great characters all . Glad we have one girl.

One more player won't hurt, welcome to the game! I might split y'all into two groups, I haven't decided yet
And how could I have forgot to mention rolling!?!
I hate fudging, so to keep everything fair, I'll make us a thread in the dice-rolling section on Giantitp.com. Y'all will have a link to it, and I'll explain how to use it.

So I think I'm gonna play a chaotic neutral human druid! I'll have character bio and sheets up by the end of the day.
This is so exciting, I played some really fun games of D&D as a kid but never got the chance since then, always really wanted to. I'm a bit new to 3.5e so hopefully I won't be too much of a drag, I'll be sure to keep that handy reference you posted at my fingertips.

If ya got room for lil' ol' me.

I think he was contemplating splitting into two groups. I think the original 5; wizard, cleric, fighter, psion, and rogue should be group 1 while the newcomers can be group 2.

I would like to participate but I just don't have the time to commit to this right now. This Barbaric Paladin Mage will have to sit this adventure out.

I can't turn Saratonin away! Come on in, join the party!
Okay, so since there is so much interest we'll definitely split the party. How many people are there now? I think 2 parties of four or five will be plenty.
This is gonna be hell to keep up with
But I think I'm up for the challenge!
