Yeah I'm human. I was going to be an elf but decided it wouldn't make much sense for an adult elf to still be naive.

that'd be kind cool. I've never been in a party with a bard.
DM: What are we doing for starting money/equipment? My character is wealthy so I was buying whatever I wanted. (within reason. pretty strict reason really, I don't like starting with too much.)
My main hangup is whether I should start with a spyglass or not. that and a disguise kit, because a disguise kit might not be something you can just buy at the market.

Alright have somewhat of a character written up, have yet to determine ability scores and such.
Merkaab Delor

Merkaab is a part of a lost psionic race known as the Synad, a humanoid race with 3 minds. His people have been nomads ever since the destruction of their homeworld by an unknown malicious force. Most of the Synad had their memories erased and were cast off to wander the planes till the end of their days. He was one of the unfortunate few who wandered blindly, until a great epiphany miraculously lifted some of his amnesia. His epiphany mearly restored a fragment of his memories but gave him enough strength to begin training his mind to further unlock the secrets of his past.
He adopted the path of the Ardent, seeking truth in the philosophies of Time, Mind, and the Planes to regain his former identity. Since his epiphany took place in the material plane he adopted the culture of humans from a small city by the sea, making his way inland towards the countryside to discover more about these people and rebuild his sense of self.
Psionic Powers include:
Mind thrust Deceleration Astral Traveler Id Insinuation Time Hop

Hmm, the calculator posted doesn't seem to work from my phone. Might need to get that sorted out later.

Merkaab has an interesting backstory
rbalzer, your chick is fucking hot
I had my sheet done, but now I still need to swap out all the numbers to correspond to the new abilities. My wife is on the computer that I have the sheet saved on/acrobat pro. Maybe when she goes to bed later. She has a huge test tomorrow.

yeah agreed I'm a fan of yukon's character. Had never heard of that race either, the 3 minds bit sounds like it could be cool. Played in a campaign where worldwide amnesia had hit everybody, the whole 'finding lost memories' bit can work quite well

Glad you like it, the Man With No Name archetype is pretty fun to play around with.
I'm curious as to gear limitation and if we are doing by-the-book rules or a simplified version for the sake of easier to follow posts.

Not sure, you'll have to ask ThatKidWithTheFace. Once you have more than 5 players it gets a bit difficult for the DM.

there's probably going to need to be a split pretty soon. I'm sure if you make a post advertising a need for a couple more members to fill out the second group it'll work

Why? We're playing play by post, wouldn't that be easier to handle DM wise? I've never played by post. How do we make rolls?

Even when it's play by post it still takes a lot for a DM to accommodate the plot to that many players. I'm not sure how the rolls, movement, and that other stuff will work out.
DM needs to chime in soon, I have most of my character sheet done but leaving some parts blank until we know for sure how the rules will be set up.
