I've been sussing out my character sheets and trying to think up a good bio. I haven't played D&D in a long time so sorry if I lag a bit, I'm still brushing up on the rules. Beginning to think I might want to pick a simpler class to play than druid.

I think I'm going with a rogue character with a pirate background

Jaccob Whitesails aka Maelstrom Jack He'll spin you a yarn about his adventures at sea but the truth is far less impressive (I don't know the full truth yet, I'm still writing his backstory)

Find the swashbuckler in the hr complete adventurer. It's a really cool rougish swashbuckling class IMHO.

I might suggest we use the RP forum so the threads don't get lost in the pub.
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/postlist.php/Board/164
But then again we would generate more attention here.
Just a suggestion.
PS: I'm still looking for that built-in dice roller I had Andy make, it's somewhere around here.

I just used the stats from the PH for leather armor and chose a tunic as an acceptable design to fit my character.
Where were you pulling your stats from? They should be the same unless you went with an example from a more specific supplement.

It seems they have the same AC looking at both your sheets. A tunic is pretty good coverage. It makes sense it would provide the full leather armor bonus.
