if your cakes pin from the bottom, don't flip them over. they pin from the bottom for a reason because they didn't think the top was a suitable place.

trich is a parasite of plenty of other molds than cubensis in nature, but it's still a facultative parasite of cubensis when given opportunity.

this is why you can't cut, salt, etc trich out. salt only helps by being in such high concentrations it inhibits everything. but by the time you see enough trich to grab your salt you're fucked anyway.
I'm afraid your green mold has a high chance of re-appearance so keep a keen eye on it.
otherwise nice job on getting some pins

Should I remove it from the FC so it doesn't contaminate my other cakes? Also, my aerial mycelium just turned a little blue on the tips of it, is that normal?

If this were the case, wouldn't it show up on healthy cubensis subs, and be damn near impossible to separate out on agar? Honestly curious.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

It was turning green... I got scared, took the cake out, crumbled it and threw it in the garbage then I sprayed it with alcohol again...
