The volcano is as of now actually quite a bit cheaper than when it first came out and will continue to keep going down in prices.
The vaporizer technology as exploded over the last year or two it seems, a lot of new stuff will come out and prices will continue to drop over time.
I wish I had waited until buying my cloud Evo.

I think you have to grow your own cannabis, and a lot of it, to really push the average stoner over into vaporizing.

What vape did you start out with or did you go right into the Sub. ?

well my first vape was a flight box. It did its job and got me stoned but at the time i preferred using my bubbler. Like a year later i bought a Da Buddha vaporizer and I still use that today. Its a great piece to just put on the coffee table and have it chill with a good movie. I was thinking about buying a Volcano but then i heard about the Sub and decided to commit to that instead. And I wouldn't say a person needs to grow a lot of weed to get into vaporizing. a Buddha on eBay is like 150. I've seen people spend a lot more on nice fancy bongs.

Also the Volcano is expensive. The most expensive model is $600.
http://www.volcanovaporizer.com/shop_us/en/volcano-digit-with-easy-valve.html

If you're spending that much, might as well save up a bit more for a Sub. Also the Sub is that expensive for the master Kit which includes a lot more stuff. You can spend between 400 and 500 i think for just the atomizer and heating element and put that on your bong.

The VTower extreme has been rocking for 7 years no problems.  IMHO I thought it performs every bit as well as a volcano.  But also, I was under the impression that sublimating had to do with a pressurized space where you then heat the cannabis to certain levels.  Am I completely off base with this?

I already mentioned, it isn't sublimating by definition.

I still have my extreme q after 5 years and am really glad to have it.

The bud gets vaporized then because the atomizer and the heating element are at equilibrium, equal heat levels, the vapor is heated up much hotter than other vaporizers and that breaks down the vapor into smaller molecules allowing for more rapid and more efficient absorption. Its pretty much just fancy vaporizing and not actually sublimating.

So it breaks the THC down faster into tinier molecules so it has a vaster absorption rate right?

Pretty much. When the vapor gets super heated its surface area is increased so in a way you're getting more vapor from the same amount of bud as well as having it broken down more for faster absorbtion

I only had the chance to purchase DMT once but due to funds at the moment I wasn't able too. I wouldn't do it anyways, I feel like DMT would trip me out to much. I like shrooms every once in a while but DMT is a different ball field  I am going to a sensory deprivation tank sometime in the beginning of September though.

Not sure how high you want to get, but I do just fine smoking my weed.:pipesmoke:

I feel the effects after the first :toke:,
every time, and with every strain I have.
If I feel the need to to get more ripped than 5 or 6 hits,
I'll try and smoke an entire joint.
I usually end up re-lighting it multiple times because of the 'space out' factor.

But what do I know?
I've only been smoking for 45 years or so.

Cool toy, I guess.

Honestly if your mildly skilled in electronics you can build your own enail for around 200 or less. Spending 800 on something similar is just crazy.

So you don't know about the Ideal Gas Law or enthalpy, right?

Do you know what THC becomes if you break it down? That's called combustion, and it turns the THC from a nice, nontoxic medicine to carcinogenic toxins. That would mean that your vape is burning not just the plant matter, but the THC itself, you know? Totally defeating the purpose of inhaling it, let alone attempting to vaporize it for $800.

There their they're little one, it will be alright.

I can attest that my Cloud Evo is more effective at getting me high than my EQ- Though its much newer technology.  I'd say that both vapes have there perks for certain users, but my Evo is pretty user friendly. I was a little disappointed with how the company started off but they're decent enough in that department as of now I guess.

Do you have a cage to help protect you from burning your self on your Sub?  Probably should just drop this thread, coming here like you did made it seem like you were trying to get people to buy it - Instead you should have just posted pics or videos with a short description on how much you like your new item.

I love my Evo actually, I think the vaporizer community is a pretty neat niche in the overall cannabis culture.

I guess I would like to state that while the Sublimintor is too expensive for my taste as well, it is not a piece of shit. If you can replicate that design (though it is patented) you would make a lot of money and I would encourage you to do so.

I wouldn't spend more than a few hundred on a rig like that.

I do have a volcano that I have put much wear n tear on over the years and that is a questionable purchase for the amount I spent.

Good luck with your sale OP
