Good evening folks...hope you are all enjoying your day.
I have just started to get interested in mushrooms, and joined the Shroomery this evening.
I found these out hunting today in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Can anyone help to identify these, any help you can offer would really be appreciated - Thanks.

Photo 1 above ( batch 1 ): I gathered these on a mossy grass area near some trees in and around some very old buildings on a Uni campus

Photo 2 above ( batch 1 ): I gathered these on a mossy grass area near some trees in and around some very old buildings on a Uni campus

Photo 3 above ( batch 2 ): These were poking through some cobbled stone near an old buildings wall / drain pipes - I think they may be: Psilocybe guilartensis

Photo 4 above ( batch 2 ): These were poking through some cobbled stone near an old buildings wall / drain pipes - I think they may be: Psilocybe guilartensis

Photo 5 above ( batch 3 ): I found this really strange bright purple / lilac coloured fungi in a shaded area just off a country road - There were no other mushrooms at all in this area, this was unfortunately partially eaten but still firm in the ground. The top was white with silver shiny bits on, but it turned dark purple after I washed it ( possibly a slug or snail has been chomping on it and left a shiny trail ? )

Photo 6 above ( batch 3 ): ...as you can see, it is fairly lilac and purple, I've never seen anything like it.

Photo 7 above ( batch 3 ): ...as you can see, it is fairly lilac and purple, I've never seen anything like it.

Photo 8 above ( batch 4 ): I found these little orange mushrooms off a side street, near a wall and lamp post, they were popping up through some moss.

Photo 9 above ( batch 5 ): These yellow, grey and brown mushrooms were found in some longer grass close to a mossy grass area near some trees in and around some very old buildings on a Uni campus ( near photo 1 mushrooms ) - some of them were really big, the size of a small childs fist... I left them alone

Photo 10 above ( batch 5 ): These yellow, grey and brown mushrooms were found in some longer grass close to a mossy grass area near some trees in and around some very old buildings on a Uni campus ( near photo 1 mushrooms ) - some of them were really big, the size of a small childs fist... I left them alone

Photo 11 above ( batch 6 ): I found this poor lone mushroom under some bushes in some wood chips, it was dark, damp and cool... I looked all around but the was the only one lone mushroom.

First four pictures look like a Cortinarius sp.
The purple one could be a knackered specimen of Laccaria amethystina. Not sure, a fresh one would help.
Picture #8 looks like Rickenella fibula.
Next one could be Xerocomellus chrysenteron.
For the last one it would help with a gill shot and perhaps a spore print.
Welcome to the Shroomery!

Thanks for the great info, yes it seems that " batch 3 " is " Laccaria amethystina " like you said, the gills definitely fit the images.

I'm thinking perhaps pictures #3 and #4 are a different species than #1 and #2. Not sure.
A better description of the habitat - trees nearby? - would help.
The supposed Laccaria I'm neither not sure about.

Hi Angler,
Yes pic 1 & 2 are one batch, then pic 3 & 4 are a 2nd batch.
Do you think the last pic there is possibly Psilocybe semilanceata ?

No, the last one is definitely not a Psilocybe sp. It might be a Mycena, but we'll need a gill shot.
