jars slow to colonize

Jars taking too long to colonize- i shale them every so often but some of them have been going since july 4th- only 3 of 15 are anywhere near 75% and less than 75% of those are anywhwre close to 30 and the rest have nothing
they were done over the course of about a week
wbs method, vermiculite. Should i have used gypsum? Ive seen people do jars in 2 days and ive used agar. After being told to d agar to agar transfers, i didnt. [I uded 1cc per round]
could this be a result of using too much LI or having dry jars [use gypsum?]
also- no contams as of yet agar or grain transfer jars.

I've had jars take over a month to fully colonize. Your jars have been sitting for 11-18 days.
You should only shake once after about 30% colonization. Repeated shakes aren't doing any good and may slow down growth.
What are the temperatures where you store your jars?

I've never heard of using verm with wbs. What tek are you following?

I don't think I understand you. 1cc of LI is not too much. Dry jars can inhibit growth.
I'd recommend re-inoculating the jars with no growth in a few days.

1cc LC in agar per quart jar. Maybe i do shake them too much. Theyre just in a bix inside my room. When the Ac is on, about 70. But between 70-80. Not too cold or hot and the variation is good. Matbe i could get a little less light to it. I thought verm held mousture so it would help the jars. Should i use gypsum next time? Maybe i have the idea wrong of the moisture in the tubs and how verm works

For starters, quit fucking shaking them all the time.

Ok but this doesnt answer my gypsum/verm question or the question of if this could be in part caused by using a full CC per agar jar vs a drop or two

a full cc on an agar plate would be bacteria haven. if you shake up your jar and the grains wont recolonize properly the jar is fucked, start over.
what kinda TEK are you following? checkout how Frank does shit

They're colonizing, this isnt really the problem. the agar did fine, I'm wondering, SPECIFICALLY what I can do to SPEED up the process of jars colonizing, and if the CC could be a factor in that. As i said, i have no contaminations yet. I'm almost ready to do my first tub.

Don't be so impatient.
Looking at them/shaking them 3x a day only makes it longer.
