How To Store First Matures Until Flush Finishes For Dehydration?

Greetings, Shroomery!
Long time lurker, first time poster. I would like to apologize beforehand if this has been asked before--which I'm sure it has; but I've exhausted the use of the search engine to no avail.
I'm in the midst of my first cultivation, and through my research here I've learned that it is best to harvest on a (more-or-less) individual basis as the mushrooms mature, but my question is this: If I'm to use a dehydrator in drying my first flush, how would I best store the picked, mature mushrooms (without a loss of potency) while waiting and picking others as they mature so that I might dehydrate them all at once? Is this even the proper way to go about it? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You could store them in the fridge like regular mushrooms until you're ready. When I have mature mushies I pick em and throw them in the dehydrator right away. Since I have 5 trays, I'll just note the time I put the first batch of mature mushies in, then when the rest are ready, I'll put those on separate trays and note the time those went in that way I don't mix them up.

You're just being anal. Why do they need to dry at the same time?

Thanks, jbaby007! That had occurred to me, but I wasn't certain whether that would cause a loss in potency for those being kept in the fridge. Would it? I imagine the answer will be divisive, as it has been in other threads, with the average consensus being that the loss in potency would be negligible.

Matt87,
I don't suppose they do need to all be dehydrated at once, but I would hardly consider attempting to be efficient as being "anal." Not to mention that I did follow-up my question by asking if this was the best way to go about it.

I would go with what jbaby said, but I honestly just mix them all together and add on a few hours for the whole batch. I'd rather them be in the running dehydrator, already dry, for an extra few hours, than in the fridge, not dry. Power consumption is really.. not a big deal with the dehydrator.

Don't put them in the fridge, they'll turn to mush quickly.
Either use the dehydrator, a fan, or desiccant to begin the drying asap.

If you put them inside a paper bag in the fridge they'll keep for a day or two. I just don't prefer to do it ever.

I've done it for fruits I wanted to clone, but didn't have plates for. They easily lasted more than a week. Never turned to mush. In fact idk wtf shroomin means they turn to mush.. that's like an inky cap/coprinoid thing. They might get soggy. In fact, a fridge is a dehydrator, so they ended up getting cracker dry on me, and I didn't get to clone lol.
I'm getting annoyed that I'm correcting shroomin every day, or at least wanting to know what he's talking about, and they still have me on ignore.

Just cut the cap off of the fruits that are maturing faster and take prints. Or just stick em in the dehydrator anyway, or the fridge. Doesn't really matter.
