I am just happy I got to see these beautiful beings  I stopped my car driving home because I noticed them, luckily I had my camera. They are were literally in the ditch, near the road, under a pine tree that sits on the corner of the road I live on....now they are gone, wtf? They were there for DAYS!

They may have been Amanita muscaria var. guessowii, but it's hard to tell from the pics.

Were they actives? Edibles? Or just some beautiful specimens to look at until our furry friends eat them?

Thank you so much! I must say that is my first time ever seeing actives in my area! So cool! That makes me think someone picked them, maybe they noticed me taking pictures lol.

Just to be clear, Amanita muscaria, isn't active in the same way Psilocin containing mushrooms.  Completely different beast, most people steer clear of them.

I am seeing that the more I read on them. I think I too will stray away from eating them and just take photos of them and stick to eating my cubes and pans  Thank you so very much brother!!

What exactly is the active chemical/s in Amanita muscaria and what is the difference after consumption?

Very true, did them twice and both times were completely different than psilocin. More of a confused, drunken,no coordination type of experience. Didn't hate it, just don't prefer it. My cousin on the other hand loves them and seeks them out every year. To each their own:cheers:
