ZeroBoyWD said: Ok but seriously for advice, ditch the airpump and junk and make a SGFC. PMP doesn't exchange air properly. If your talking return on investment, salvage what you can and learn more, or just enjoy this one off. If you aren't going to do any mods, just fan the crap out of a few times a day to bust the CO2 out from the bottom.
My chamber has only 4 holes to work with but I'm learning well by working with so little. I like it. Almost like placing a seal on it's potential.. I applied what I read but was forced to modify. After the first flush I have a firmer grasp on FAE.

Nice first grow dude.
I didn't buy a kit, but I see no harm in doing so if you have cash to burn and it gets you interested in the hobby.
Hopefully my first run is as successful as yours. Now take what you've learned and build on it. That's what I plan to do.

Shoulda tried cloning that BIG fucker. That would be a nice one to replicate. I'm about to swear off SGFCs though, doing a dub tub was unbelievably easy and I'm getting a nice flush now. Gonna be picked three days after my cakes first flush and getting WAY more out of it.

One side of the chamber with one hole
Other side with 3 holes and humidifier/FA pump. I make sure the pump blows in all holes, switching it's location every few hours or so

Ah I see. Very interesting. I got a air pump with my "kit" and I threw it out the window lol.
Are you planning on putting in more holes?
Really I was curious how big your FC was. Thank you

I might as well add more holes. I can only benefit. The size is 22 1/2 x 15. 12 gallon
I read that mushies don't just grow towards the light but also towards the direction of air flow. From my observations I find this to be true. I'm glad to be witnessing this with my very own eyes
For the first flush, I let them air dry on a plate in my room for about 3 days. They still looked pretty fresh and I thought they would've rotted if I didn't dry them quickly. This second flush I'm having them dry outside with a fan running on high

This is a super easy tek for beginners. You do need a pressure cooker for RGS, but can do PF Tek cakes without it. Total supplies probably less than $20 … Stealthy as hell. No fruiting chamber required, no fanning, no misting. Easy to get some mushrooms with virtually no effort after you get them going.

It doesn't get any easier than this.
-------------------- "The universe is endless, limitless and infinite. Any effort to define it's boundaries is an attempt to overcome ignorance. We are physical, mental and spiritual beings ... there is no beginning and there is no end. There is only memory. Our repeated loss of memory experiences create the illusion of beginnings and ends. Immortality is the ability to retain full memory through all consciousness transformations. Loss of memory is man's greatest curse and, in very real terms, death." -- Ancient Taoist Master

Damn you guys are brutal. Those cakes turned out amazing.
He wasted a little bit of money but $140 is nothing.
I think truffles are the way to go if you are trying to keep things hidden. They are impossible to mess up too.
