Not undercovers... they were FBI ninjas. They came in there like commandos and took my ass down. It sucks, I know. I'm sorry it had to be that way.
Now you know what horrors await those who run a cash register at a convenience store.

Well here's an update. I went to court and I pled not guilty. Got off without a hitch the two other witnesses (employees) there never saw what happened and only said that the video surveillance "appeared" to show me never carding them. So, I'm glad for that... Just one thing and this is a question. I was supposed to go to to court for a witness for the person who used the stolen credit card. I showed up late right as they got done, it was literally like 2 minutes that I was late for. Anyways, they told me that he pled guilty. My question is am I gonna get in any trouble for not showing up ?? Technically I did but I never entered the courtroom to explain myself. I was told that I should have at least told the magistrate. I didn't know that it was bad to not show up. I am not someone who is all that familiar with justice systems. What do you think?

Idunno I don't think it will be that serious. If you are served a subpeona with official paperwork they could issue a warrant, but I don't even see why they have you as a witness at this point. It seems weird to me that you would get called to a trial like that and not have any clue what is going on. You should not be present for the pretrial hearing where he enters a plea anyway, right?
I think if you actually received a summons the potential outcome of missing the date should be with that information. I think this whole scenario is strange. Like if I were actually getting fucked with by police like this being called to court as a witness having no clue as to your role in all this I would ask a lawyer rather than the Pub.
Did you have a PDA for your trial or hire a lawyer? Did you ask them about all this?

No I didn't have an attorney. It was just one court date. And I knew what was going on I just didn't know how they did things. I guess its cause it was a misdemeanor they didn't let me get a PDA. Or IDK they do thinks different at that court the last misdemeanor made me get a lawyer and pre-appointments with one.
And yeah it has a "notice to witness" which says all the good things about fines and jail for not showing up and contempt of court. I am going to have to call tomorrow and make things clear and tell them that I did show up but I was told he pled guilty and I didn't know what to do after that so I went home.

I mean if he pled guilty I don't think you will be testifying. You should be fine in my opinion. It's strange though that they went to those lengths so early in the trial.

I mean it was a felony charge he had, and really so if he said guilty I wouldn't of needed to even walk up there? The way it happened for my misdemeanor case was everyone was just being called up one at a time and asked if they plead not guilty or guilty. But the witnesses also came up at the same time... Least mine did. I just think I should call and tell explain myself.
And yeah this courts kinda weird I guess.

Here's a novel idea... Ask the court.

Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear. I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear. You can't wake up, this is not a dream. What tell him to ask the court? It's the only way he's actually going to get an answer to his question. The facts of his "story" change every couple of hours. Since no one here really knows what the fuck is going on because he can't even keep the story straight, they're literally the only ones in any kind of position to give him an answer.

Nearly two months later and you're still on my tail about that? Its not nearly as complicated as you think I said it was. My story never did change either its just I was stupid and thought I could lie to possibly get out.
If you want me to tell it again I will. Two underage went in to buy beer. The one buying was using a stolen card. I had one charge of selling to underage; I went to court, pled not guilty and got out of it. At the same time I got the charge paper for selling to underage, I also had two subpoenas for a witness to credit card larceny. I missed that first one which was for the one who actually bought the beer. He pled guilty and I guess was told he didn't get to leave because he went to the actual jail. I am just worried I'm gonna get in trouble for not showing up and being like 2 minutes late.

If you thought you could lie to get out of it, why would you lie to us about it? That doesn't make any sense. You can't expect to get actual guidance when you won't even give the facts. Paranoid the cops might check your post here? Then why post it? It makes no sense.
And yes, as long as you're digging the thread back up I'm going to be still on it. I put a lot of effort into trying to help you out and so did others and you kept changing your story every page and lashing out when we questioned you on the ever changing story. Even further going so far as to tell people they were wrong when their answers didn't fit what you wanted to hear. The previous posts don't lie. Unless you go on a delete spree it's right there for everyone to see how everything unfolded.
So excuse me if I'm not rushing to try and provide you counsel again. Fool me once and all. Hopefully before someone goes and invests too much time into trying to answer your question, they'll read this post and think twice.

Why should I shut my mouth? I gotta explain why I missed court. WHat I should do is show up tomorrow and tell them what happened. Only way I could lessen my chances of having THEM show up at my door asking why TF I didn't show up for court.
