Maybe they wanted to use you as a witness but you scared them off by acting like a loon :insano:

If I were a cop I would suspect you had some arrangement.  If you're telling the truth and the number was just an impulsive coincidental thing then that probably came out in the investigation against the two fraudsters.  They probably didn't talk at first but most people end up talking eventually, despite the tough fronts they might put up.

At least underage kids who are dumb enough to pull stunts like this probably didn't cover their tracks and as long as you didn't receive money from them on camera or something else you're not telling us, I agree that any case against you would be highly circumstantial.  They weren't doing an investigation on your carding or not carding, so it is very possible they will not pursue that because they don't have evidence.

If you're not telling the truth and you are actually involved in all this, they will probably come arrest you at some point.  I really doubt you'd still be working if that were the case.

Well I lost the job. Dammit this is such bs I have the worst luck ever. Its not fair life is so mean to me.

If there is a God he's a smug bastard who doesn't do shit to help people get anything they want he just does wtf he wants like a god damn nazi dictator. I fucking hate it. It could have ended up way different if the assistant manager who was there had seen what was going on and stopped it.
She literally was right there as they were going out there door after another customer said "you should check out what's going on over there" but by then it was too late I already made the fuck up. Its like the universe don't give a fuck about me or something. Fuck you universe!

At least I got my paycheck... But still this is so depressing that was a good source of money now I'm left with nothing. And on top of that if they file charges I'm gonna be so fucked. Why the fuck can't I do anything in life like what the utter living fuck its so fucked up.

It is a shitty job, but its the first real job I ever had and plus I don't get out of the house much and it was my only real outlet to get out.

The way you do it nowadays is go online, fill it out, then tell the store manager you filed out a app online. Its always good to appear in person so they know you're serious. That's how I got the job at where I was.

If school isn't an option for you, you should probably start putting time into finding a better career than retail.  See if your area has like an unemployment office that has a resource center for job seekers.  They usually have a solid list of more serious employers looking to hire entry-level people, and might have free classes and stuff on how to use different resources and tailor your resume to find the best job.

Also temp agencies can help you with placement things like this sometimes, and that way you'll probably be able to try some different things out.

I have tried those before, they don't really work unless you have prior experience in a job. All I have on paper is the retail thing.

You can try to get like a warehouse job. I tried that too but never got a call back. Maybe its cause I didn't have anything in my history but made up bs like being a home auto mechanic. Meh.

Keep trying.  I know it's hard out there, but anyone can do it if you are persistent.  Fudging your resume isn't the worst thing in the world, but a go-getter attitude will go alot further I think.  Odds are most worthwhile places won't hire you just for putting in a resume, you've got to go in and show interest, or in absence of that desperation can work too.  These are human beings you're trying to get work with, so if they understand you're really in need of work and you seem genuine many people will give you a chance if they can, but they're not going to give a fuck if they don't know a thing about you.

A Go Get Her atTITude... Yeah man I know what you mean lmao.

I know, they are real ppl. That's what I'm not liking. Real people suck ass lol. I mean, the customers suck ass when you;re running register you gotta deal with that shit... Sometimes some hotties come in or cool dudes, but its not worth the bs you put up with. I lost my guard because it was turning into a social experiment to me. I have very little social experience to be frank. It was actually getting easy till that dumbass walked in there running his mouth.

Cause alcohol is the best most safest drug out there, haven't you heard?
But no they sell it cause they are like a mini wal-mart and enjoy supplying the huge number of alcoholics near where I live.

If they could use kratom instead it'd reduce DUI related fatalities or alcohol related injuries or health problems. Alcohol make syou so stupid too. People have no brains they just think all they need are alcohol and cigarettes. There's 1,000's of different plants out there that do the same or similar thing, and are safer. But of course, the FDA doesn't mess with it cause its "untested", but we all know alcohol is the best thing ever for your body.

wow what a strange and entertaining thread!

I actually used to work for the california alcohol and tobacco division. id have to clean shave and literally go into stores throw beer up on the counter and if they didnt ask for ID give them a little red warning card. Was super easy job paid like 20/hour and just drove around. Most people asked for ID and if they were cool and didnt ask id usually say "are you SURE you dont want ID?" and give them a look. usually they would then ask then id notify them they passed a random check and give them a little green card. I did it for like a year and only had to give a red card out once. It was to a TOTAL DICK cashier who actually screamed at me and pounded his fist on the counter when i asked him if he was sure i didnt need to show id. I gave him the red card then walked out. his attitude changed real quick after that. Also for the record a red card meant the store owner getting a call from alcohol and tobacco division and a verbal. If a store got more than 3 red cards it was BAD news. I never saw that happen though.

As to OP situation........One thing you need to realize for the future.....you served alcohol to an inebriated who then got in an accident......you know someone could have died or been seriously injured and it would be YOUR FAULT. (hell maybe someone did and youll find out about it in court!) Dont try to say you were scared and gave your number. You were stupid plain and simple. Also i wouldnt lie about carding if you indeed didnt. They do have a camera after all. Your also supposed to check ID with card transactions too buddy.

Let this be a lesson learned. Hopefully no one was seriously injured or killed and stop making excuses for yourself. You fucked up now you gotta accept the consequences.

good luck!

Well damn I didn't know the idiot was drunk... how would it be my fault anyways its the store who doesn't train you for shit on how to deal with drunk people who come in the store.

And yeah, fuck the camera that's the only reason I was fired. Fucking camera.

Don't really get it how the store doesn't train you better or tell you better. Had they done that none of this would have happened.
