Is this bacteria in my Muda jar?

These were colonizing fine until they got to about 75%, then just stopped. Shortly thereafter these white spots appeared and have stated to grow. Temps are mid 70's.

Yeah, kinda looks like a wet spot there. How many days have passed after it has stopped colonizing?

Around 10 days or so since they stalled colonizing.

I think it's just mycelium growing weirdly against the glass. I've had jars do this that I've gone on to spawn without issue a few times.

I have this happen all the time also.
I think it is mycelium that has began digesting.. They always turn a off color yellow for me.
I really don't have any idea what it really is.

I saw a bunch of that yellow growth in jars I just got done spawning, smelled fine. 8 quarts from the same batch I spawned 3 days ago have already fully colonized the horse poo I spawned them to.

I basically never get spots if the spawn is clean, I had a few go bad from a contaminating mold/bacteria at different points in time and I got all kinds of spots just like what your showing OP, some of which yellowed over time. What little I got was stunted and worthless.
I've learned not to trust jars like that, I was a little surprised to hear you guys having good success with them.

I've never had issues from them.

Thanks for the replies everyone. As I have a very small operation going, I don't really have anything to lost by trying to fruit these. Going to give them another week to "consolidate" and then put them in a monotub style fruiting chamber. Will let you know how it goes.

If you have any questions about the next steps, hit me up. I don't mind helping.
Make sure to follow the teks you've chosen to the letter. Don't skip steps or innovate, you have no clue how to at this point.

Could be bacterial, mine never have that yellowish substance in the center of my "growths"... but hey, if your spawn is working, it's working.
I've seen cubes do some weird things in spawn jars.

It was weird.. These spots developed way after it colonized. This is the big pickle jar, so anything is possible.
