Confused as F***

Hey guys, Im just really confused at the moment because every Pf tek I read or watch says that keeping your jars at the right temperature throughout the different processes (24-28C for colonisation ect) is really important but show no methods on how to regulate it. I've heard about the tub in tub method however am finding it hard to find much information on it and was wondering if you could even incorporate it with the pf tek and if you'd still use a shotgun fruiting chamber and stuff, i'm just so confused. This is probably a stupid question and might not make a lot of sense but if someone could help me out that would be bloody beautiful, cheers. let me know if i didn't explain it well.

Uhh...just find a place thats not scorching hot and put it there
If the area they are in is room temp, then its fine...

so your saying that throughout the whole process i can just leave them in the same place as long as its roughly room temp and this wont effect them to much?

Not only will it "not affect them too much", it's also preferable. 73-75F is my go-to temperature, both for comfort and for the mushrooms.

18C - 24C is fine. What are your room temps?

Its winter so probably below optimum temp but i can just chuck the heater on if need be i guess. i was worrying cause i thought that if the temp wasn't "EXACTLY!" right then everything would go wrong. haha

Better too low than too high. Too low slows down growth but also slows contams. Some say that lower temps encourage fruits with more mass.

If it's too cold then it will grow a little slower, or maybe a lot slower. If it is a comfortable temperature for you, then your fungus will be happy.

This is correct. It's also correct that with cubensis cooler temperatures generate a shorter, slower growing, denser fruit body.
