Hello guys had my 1st experience with the Dimitri today and boy was i not ready for what it was about to do i never felt so close to leaving my body but the visions closed and open where very intense everything flexing fractals in my closed eyes and lots of other crazy stuff... But i am wondering 8 hours or more later how often is normal?

I know buddies who go either way. If you are a music lover sober, I think you'd be okay with. Generally people say to go without if you are unsure. I personally recommend a sitter for any DMT experience, because its at max a 30 minute experience (~20 minute comedown). Having residuals 8 hours after?? That doesn't sound like deemsters to me, unless you've been smoking kind bud and have some mental stuff still going on. If that's honestly been going on with you, I'm outside my experience.

I'm pretty sure you can do it really often. I could be wrong but I heard dmt doesn't really generate a tolerance

DMT has a tolerance for only about an hour or so, and doesn't have any long term tolerance. I've heard of a couple people smoking DMT 2 times a day for a week or more.

not even an hour. i was hitting the deemster hard for a month, like 3-5 times a day or more sometimes. and of course i'd skip some days. but there is like no tolerance. i would do back to back to back trips sometimes and the 3rd would hit me hard and there wouldn't be anymore than the first 2 doses.

i used to take psychedelics so fucking much. during that month i ate like 26 hits of really strong acid, 2 grams of mda, a lot of weed, and the last 2 weeks i had 1g of deems. i was tripping like everyday, and for some strange reason.... tolerance didn't come into play. i think it had to do with this kundalini yoga experience i had the day before i started my month in lala land.

Yeah if DMT is combined with an MAO-A inhibitor like the Harmalas, there really isn't any tolerance for DMT. The other day i smoked on some DMT-enhanced Cannabis with some Rue extract on top, and i smoked on it periodically, it was really nice.
Last night i smoked some though, and felt the presence of something that seemed perhaps negative, i also heard a whisper in my ear and minutes later i heard a laughing almost like whatever it was, was trying to provoke me or was challenging me or something. Idk, weird shit, but DMT is weird like that lol.
But yeah, Changa is definitely the way to go as far as smoked DMT goes, but i'm more of an Ayahuasca guy anyways, pure DMT doesn't seem to be my thing just yet.
Music definitely helps though, but at least for me, i can get kinda carried away with the music, but i'd say to just try it with and without music and see what works best for you. Music can be really useful at helping to avoid difficult experiences, ime.

DMT on its own has a faster onset and an incredibly fast peak, changa slows things down, suspends time longer in hyperspace, you can watch the story unravel without the hyper super speed projections that DMT alone delivers

I love listening to my favourite bands during DMT experiences. It reconfirms the reasons for me loving them.
There is no tolerance. I have spent many nights smoking DMT back to back without any noticeable effects on tolerance

Yeah DMT tolerance goes away completely at around 60 minutes post trip.
So theoretically you can blast off 24 times a day, but like Bill said, I really only do it once or twice and I am set for a long time

The first time i ever smoked DMT i took a really small dab of it and just felt the body load. I took a dose probably twice the size almost immediately after I came down and tripped so hard I had no connection to my senses in reality. I think there is tollerance immediately after you smoke but it goes away withing 15 minutes or so.

Yep there is definitely a tolerance immediately after doing it. I have fucked up trying to vape deemz on top of ashes before and got nothing but a REALLY heavy body buzz, and I would try to hit the rest but I waited too long and it barely did anything.
If you dose too low, the body buzz will prevent you from moving but you would really break through at all, maybe some minor visuals

This exactly.
When I dont breakthrough on DMT I get pretty disappointed usually because in my opinion DMT is probably one of the worst psychedelics recreational wise. The body feeling just isnt enjoyable at all. Spiritually speeking id say DMT is the most insightful and enlightening drug ive tried because when you actually do breakthrough its so crazy you cant put it into words.

It's to a point now though that I basically have a breakthrough everytime I smoke. I have been using and experimenting with DMT for almost 6 years and now I can basically control the kind of trip I want to have.
I can have a breakthrough everytime I smoke now or sometimes I'll just keep myself from breaking through to stay in this surreal pre-breakthrough plane.
I enjoy all the levels of experience that DMT has to offer, but definitely agree that the body load can be unsettling sometimes.

I've only ever done changa in a joint/blunt but its a low dose of dmt extended over a 30 minute timespan, in my experience i haven't broken thru with it but when youre riding the dmt wave you can feel the potential of the high and how strong it cud be if you put more into the joint.
DMT, im sure you know how dmt is.

Wow thats similar to what i experienced last night i had a similar "negative" moment where a entity that seemed to be the god of destruction was taunting me and my thoughts and saying he would destroy me and i am nothing and he kept relating that i can hear this clear as day and it rubbed me the wrong way but i accepted it after a while like wow i am nothing I'm just like everything else and after that i was washed with beautiful fractal visions and i was shown how we were all once atoms inside stars and everything is energy and love down to the core... Long story short probably the most peaceful moment i have felt in a given moment.

I have found any type of music aside from trance or progressive house to make the DMT experience a little weird. I know I have difficulty understanding a song while in hyperspace, and it just gets worse if there are lyrics or sudden changes in beats.
When I am in hyperspace, I like consistent, predictable music, which is why if I chose to listen to music on DMT, I only listen to trance/progressive house.
Some good trance can actually make the DMT experience even better. The sounds kind of add to the sensation of moving through some hyperspace/void

thats really interesting GLA,
Would u say listening to trance/progressive while smoking DMT helps ease the sudden transistion from sober to hyperspace?
Cause that would help me out a lot.

I haven't found anything yet that helps ease that initial blast off, but it has certainly made some DMT breakthroughs a bit more interesting and the trance sounds can even guide you through hyperspace.
I would toy around with it, I would also experiment but I have no access to DMT right now aside from the DNM and even then DMT has kind of steered me away from itself just from the overall extremeness of the experience.
I am in a little bit of psychedelic recovery for the rest of the year because of some heavy use that I regret that happened from october 2014 - march 2015 haha
I am just sticking to lighter psychedelic doses for a while until I feel comfortable doing things like DMT or high shroom/lsd doses once again

Weird, I love music while smoking DMT. I have listened to many bands while smoking; pink floyd, the beatles, the shins, simon and garfunkel, queen, deer hoof, flaming lips, father john misty, modest mouse, fleet foxes, iron and wine, the greatful dead, tera melos, minus the bear, tycho, wild child, david bowie, etc. etc.
Literally I have listened to nearly every band I enjoy while smoking DMT. Even my fair share of dub step, trance, drum and base, whatever.
I usually enjoy it, if I love the bands music normally, why wouldn't I enjoy it while in the depths of the experience?
On a couple occasions, I have dissolved into pure sound waves that pulsed throughout the room into my girlfriends and roommates ears, then reformed into my physical self. It enhances the experience sometimes, in my opinion.
I have gone to the farthest reaches of the multi-verse, and DMT led me there

If you dose too low, the body buzz will prevent you from moving but you would really break through at all, maybe some minor visuals
This exactly.
When I dont breakthrough on DMT I get pretty disappointed usually because in my opinion DMT is probably one of the worst psychedelics recreational wise. The body feeling just isnt enjoyable at all. Spiritually speeking id say DMT is the most insightful and enlightening drug ive tried because when you actually do breakthrough its so crazy you cant put it into words.
The first time I was literary drenched in sweat and trembling. I'm not sure if the DMT did that or the experience I was having on DMT did that. Just when I think I know what to expect well something unexpected happens. A roller coaster is always the same thing DMT is like a coaster on a infinite track. I usually get the same "message" that can't be put into language so don't even ask but I often have different experiences.

Anyone hitting or wanting to hit DMT multiple times in 1 day is just doing it wrong. If you smoke it correctly you'll be plenty satisfied and have enough to ponder for weeks. It's especially common for new smokers to try and chase that immensely satisfying breakthrough. And I can understand that, I really encourage people to try to go all the way. But if you didn't have a 5-star experience, chances are you're not going to get it by doing things exactly the same 3 hours later. I'd highly recommend taking at least 1 day between trials to think about it and as long as you need to prepare a good technique and practice it. Such a shame when people go through a gram in a week and still haven't gotten anywhere because they keep rushing into it with no skill.

I say music all the way.
The first time i tried some with music, it was to the endless river by pink floyd and the ambiance of that album paired beautifully with the DMT.
More recently though, I had my most beautiful and uplifting experience on it to some really heavy dubstep. It was really cool cause when i closed my eyes, the visuals would move to the bass. Absolutely amazing.
Edit: I have also tried the multiple times daily thing and it wasn't for me. Led to me being "afraid" of the deemsters. Didn't touch my stash for like a month after. Just the smell of it would make me anxious.
I usually just sit on my supply and wait for those perfect moments when blasting off just comes to mind. I don't consciously plan times to do it or whatever like with L or shrooms.

the one time I tried music with dmt I just went into dmt space and couldn't hear or makeout the music until I started to come down. so music for me is useless when smoking ii

I'd highly recommend music. IMO its better to hear something you either like or are familiar with rather than being interrupted or distracted by a car honking, noisy neighbors or stupid barking dogs ect..

Hour break will usually let the tolerance go away. I just did 4 DMT trips in 2 days (with a mushroom trip in between), the first 3 I did in the first day, an hour break and food break in between (all strong trips), with a 4g mushroom trip after at night, after the 3rd most intense DMT trip. All amazing, I'd love to write much more about everything later.. there's so much to process, remember, and learn how to articulate and convey. The next day after sleep and food, I did a 4th DMT trip.
I think each person has to determine what the right amount of use is for them, like with many drugs. You must determine when you are ready to use something, and in the right place, and if it's use is serving a productive purpose for you. I think DMT is very safe in comparison to other drugs.
Music can guide the journey, that in itself can sometimes be more intrusive, or assist with it. I find DMT trips have some intense audio hallucinations, which is part of it. Non-verbal, yet audible, parallel conversations, that race through your subconscious at warp speeds, as part of the visuals. Especially "conversing with entities". Sometimes I'd come out of it and think that all the incredible things I heard/spoke/saw were seeping into the room and that my sober trip partner had experienced, and heard, the entire thing. Music can play different roles in how the trips work, I wouldn't knock either way.
Something on a lower volume, more ambient, might be better.

Oh I never thought of it like that
I live in the middle of a state park (literally, our little neighborhood is a little square cut out portion in the middle of the state park map haha) out in the colorado wilderness. There are never any sounds aside from birds chirping, wind rustling aspen leaves and whistling through pine trees, and maybe a nearby river/stream
The reason I suggested trance or progressive house is because that type of music just feels right while moving through hyperspace. Normally I am a huge EDM head/indie rock fan but listening to something with long noises that are repetitive don't sound "foreign" or weird like Bill suggested. When I do DMT, any other type of music just ends up almost fading out and I don't notice it. The beat of it may make some visuals change, but the sound is so distant that you don't notice it. With trance, I manage to hear it in hyperspace and it feels like a mean of transportation through the hyper-dimension rather than "music"
I guess a better way of putting it is:
With no sounds at all, I hear what people describe as a "carrier wave" which I like to describe as a full body tinnitus, where it is like a soundwave at high pitch that sounds like it just goes faster and faster
Trance is one of the only types of music that can "replace" that carrier wave, and instead of that wave guiding you through the cosmos, the trance music does

I can't imagine how much it must suck to live in a place that has uncontrollable noise
I love living out in the woods because my backyard isn't mowed green grass surrounded by a fence, it is millions of acres of beautiful nature. There are downsides (namely internet and cellphone coverage, also commuting can be bad but luckily I am only 30-40 min drive from downtown denver. I have thought about living in the city but I can't deal with random shady fuckers roaming near my house, and not being able to have total silence would be a nightmare for me. I spend a lot of time just chilling and enjoying how beautiful it is where I live, and even the rare care driving up the dirt road to where my house is can interrupt a chill session.
Especially if you like to do drugs, specifically psychedelics. I don't need to drive somewhere and ask someone to take me back home if I want to have an awesome trip in the best set and setting there is, which I have 24/7 access to by walking out my front door. There are no unexpected things that can happen, no one will knock on your door, it is really awesome living out here.
I have thought about how cool it would be to live off the land in a place even more secluded, but while living around some of the most beautiful wilderness in the world is like a dream come true, I still like going into town and doing shit like shopping and having fun at a club or something.
Where I live gives a good balance of everything, and I really mean it when I say there is no better place to live if you love tripping. You can do whatever you fucking want really, since there is like no one anywhere you can just have gun with some guns, fireworks, hell even build your own pool, no one gives a fuck.
I have tried tripping on normal psychedelics like LSD in the city and in friend's houses in suburbs and it takes away a lot of the freedom you get out here. If you take an entire ounce of shrooms and go insane for a few hours screaming like a maniac and saying you want to be dead, you can do it without having to worry about 10 people calling the cops on you lol.
It's always nice to invite friends out here because most the people I know haven't even gone camping, which to me is just crazy! It is a little restricted now because of the state park surrounding where I live, but I like taking people backpacking into the park, and then going all the way through it and camping out in the middle of who knows where for a few days. People love it, and they always tell me how much they wish to live where I do
