Corn from the field?

I've been searching and can't find the answer. Do you think it would be ok to use corn from a corn field? It's looking pretty close to harvest time and I'm surrounded by corn fields. Would it be OK to use this or would the chemicals sprayed be a deal breaker? I'm also looking to increase my posts, as I can't see some things because I havn't posted enough.

I'm reaching for the random or whatever will bewilder me. Whatever will bewilder me. And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been. We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been. Spiral out. Keep going...

Corn is a bad grain spawn choice, it will turn very mushy once PC'd. Stick to grains that work!

Ok, just wondering. WBS is cheap, but free would have been nice.

You can use it. You can also use the cobs as a bulk substrate.

I was thinking of using a popcorn tek, breaking the corn from the cob. I'll stick to the tried and true methods until I get a bit more established. I am only on my first grow with BRF, but looking to the future. I'll pick some corn and try it later, after all, can't beat free.

If you go to a feed store and buy 50 lbs of whole oats for $15, your spawn issues will be solved and it will be super easy and convenient.
