Try some of The Polyphonic Spree. They are a pretty neat band, they have almost 30 memembers.

Listen to some old King Crimson. Enigma and some tribal music comes to mind. If you want a long list of bands I like to listen to when I'm tripping, just ask. I just wanted to list the really spiritual ones.

The United States of Ambience albums are all good. Entheogenic is cool. Noir Desir would probably freak you out.

hey check out Infected Mushroom's Converting Vegetarians double-album (2nd CD is more chilled-out stuff.. really cool IMO if you like Shpongle).
More chilled-out = Makyo - Yakshini (entire album is fantastic)
More charged-up = Younger Brother - A Flock of Bleeps (Simon Posford from Shpongle plays a large role in Younger Brother)
-------------------- Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me. In addition: SHPONGLE

Well I'd recommend Etnica.
The song 'Trip tonite' is absolutely dripping with trip. It is extremely hard to find the best version, there are like 10. The BEST version starts out with a lot of flute and the sample "we had an intense visitation of energy..."
If you can't find it yourself, feel free to PM me and I could send it to you via AIM or email, if you'd like.

For a VERY deep Voyage I would recommend something more magickal and occult. Try COIL if you dare. For me it's the best thing I can imagine. Shpongle, Hallucinogen and other psytrance are this kind of music that feels like being made especially for LSD. If you look for good, esoteric and full of natural samples trance then go for RAPOON.
Recently I bought the SYNESTHESIA album of THE LEGENDARY PINK DOTS. It's so awesome that I can't believe it. The true musical Voyage. If you seek out very good lyrics then you can try other albums. THE MARIA DIMENSIONS are considered one of the best Pink Dots album.
