Noob with some blue dye shrooms

So I'm kind of new to the whole shroom community. I go out early almost every morning to see what the forest has sprouted for me. This morning I found a rather large blue cap/stem mushroom, it bruises blue, and leaves a thick blue dye on my fingers when I touch it. Anyone know what I've got here?

Sounds like a Lactarius species, possibly Lactarius indigo, but we can't be certain without a pic at least. Do they look anything like this? Notice the blue latex stain on the picker's thumb in the first pic (right click the picture and choose 'View Image'):

There's a sticky on the board with a "Proper Identification Request Form", most members here would prefer if you used the form and filled out as much info as possible when you make an ID request.

Keep in mind that blue or bruising blue does not always indicate the presence of psychoactive alkaloids. Some mushrooms bruise blue for other reasons than psilocybin content. There's some polypores that bruise blue due to some enzymatic process that doesn't involve psilocybin, as well as a few other gilled species...
7-Isopropenyl-4-methylazulen-1-yl)methyl stearate causes Lactarius indigo to be blue. Though there's nothing psychoactive about this compound it's still fascinating stuff....

His only pic in his gallery is one of the blue Lactarius sp. and look way past their prime. I think those are probably the mushrooms that he is talking about.
