Found in balingup western Australia among pines

Stem was white but bruised as shown in pics

Cap size: 1-1.5cm

I was impatient with the spore print



dark brown busing on gills and around the cap

can anyone please confirm what these are?

negative, i think those are cortinarius. probably toxic.

Those are likely poisonous aswell, I find similar to those around my sub patches..

The best advice I can give you is to look for the white stems, any orange/rustic on the stripe is bad.. look at my pictures.

They should turn blue if you bruise the stem, you can't miss it.

Brown gills, white stem, gold to caramel top :thumbup:

Spore print every single mushroom you find or you might make a slight error and completely fuck your liver.

Black and purple spore print = Subaeruginosa

There aren't any known toxic Gymnopilus I don't believe.  However, even if these are active it you don't have enough to trip on here.

As for being edible, I'm sure everyone will agree, Gyms are intensely bitter and not much fun to munch on lol...
