alrighty gang. so last time I posted I had 1 cake and it had sprouted a small mushroom but then got green mold(YUCK!) so I tossed the entire cake, scrubed EVERYTHING down and sprayed EVERYTHING with Lysol.
After my sanitation duties had been fully completed I proceeded to birth my final 5 jars. I dunked for 18 hours in a Styrofoam cooler in the fridge, and then rolled in freshly baked vermiculite(cooled of course, silly). I placed all 5 in my PF TEK ultrasonic Humidifier setup, and with a little tinkering I found that sweet spot.
First I had 2 small mushrooms growing on the middle, and I couldn't figure out why the others weren't doing anything, why I wasn't seeing any flushes, and why I ever decided to pick up this hobby in the first place. After researching and researching I decided to wait a week or so before dunking and rolling again. I didn't have to wait that full week. On the sixth day after I decided to dunk and roll on day 7, I had pins! On day 7 my 2 mushies from the middle cake were massive! On day 8 I could see a massive flush forming on all the cakes! Finally, on day nine(today) I have harvested my massive mid cake mushrooms, which weighed in at 5.4g(DRY!!!!) and taken pictures of this beautiful beginning to a very happy future.

"PF TEK ultrasonic Humidifier setup"............
Those cakes are starving for FAE. I see very few holes if any in that tub. Why did you not just use Perlite? Why didn't you follow the tek?
Glad you got some fruits. Enjoy them.

What guide?
A guide from this site?
Look up Shot Gun Fruiting Chamber on THIS site. You put 1/4" holes on all six sides of the box. You wet enough perlite to make a 5 inch layer in said box. You put the perlite in the box. You put the cakes in box on a small circle of foil You elevate the box from the floor and give it at least 6in of space from walls. You mist and fan as appropriate. You collect the fruits. You dunk the cakes You collect more fruits. You Repeat. You do a lot more reading on this website. You start doing agar, grains, and monotubs and stop kissing your sister.
*Spacechildo bailed your ass out. go for his link.

Seriously though...you have to realize that just because something works doesn't mean it works well. Some of these guys you are disagreeing with in all probability have more experience doing this than you or I ever will. It might not be a bad idea to atleast consider the points and advice they are providing.

I remember my first grow. A brown rice cake in a "mushroom humidity super tent" that had an ionizer hooked on it and I ran a ultrasonic full blast 24/7.
I think I grew like 3 shrooms.
Then the second one was cakes on hydrotron clay balls sitting in 3in of water with an aquarium pump and 2 bubble wands. I think that time I got like 5 1/2 shrooms.
Please just do it right the first time so its embedded that that's how you're supposed to do it.
I "knew it all" and was too hard headed to listen to much (and its still my biggest cultivation failure to this day.)
You cannot fill an already full cup, empty your cup.
Even if the tek doesn't make sense or seem rational, just follow it and soon you will understand.
