pasteurization tip: turn burner off and put lid on pot when temp reaches 125*F. It will climb to 165*F before falling back down to 140*F but not before 2 hours have past. This is the best way not to fuck it up and you don't have to monitor it the whole 2 hours.
The digital temp probe on the right is meant to be permanently in while cooking. not sure why its bad? supposed to be for monitoring meat. Im pretty sure other cultivators use the temp base and probe.. soo convenient. I'll be getting another analogue to test my current analogue for peace of mind.
how should i put my PC lid on? I just lay it on top without closing it. is that right?

I mean, I totally understand MS and really the only was to create a different looking strain is through isolation of a mutation. But what's the harm in having names for the grows you are doing?
And thanks Fox! I wish I could get your pinsets! And clusters! I got stoked when I had a tiny cluster of two, lol.

Sounds like even more BS. And I dunno why you're getting any sassier with me than him, just because I crack more jokes. The point stands that names like that are pretty much 100% bullshit. I've been thinking it for weeks, having seen all these new folks coming in growing these for some reason, but haven't said anything til space outright asked.
Names like stargazers make me think that the vendor is trying to convince you that THESE mushrooms, in particular, will actually make you trip, unlike others.

Mystery cube second grow. 66 qt mono. Partial first flush. Kind of gave me two first flushes, a bit staggered.

Stupid contam that invaded like half my petris. Never had an issue like this before. Kind of upsetting. Not sure what I did wrong, but next transfers I will be much more careful.

AA+ chuggin along.

Lol I must honestly agree with inocule. I use trays in tubs, and as such I can have 4 different varieties going at a time. I've got well over 10 cube varieties going that I'm still labeling. Can I really differentiate one from the other? No. Lol, with the exception of pe, rust spores, and albinos, but those are for obvious reasons.

if using a pc to pasteurize, put lid on but don't lock it. Anything digital is bound to fail when high humidity is involved. Trust what you want but analogue thermometers work through means of pressure where as electronics usually work through a sensor of some sort. 9/10 of the time, electronics and water don't mix.
