I don't see an issue.
When I was new I looked at my jars every day... many times a day.
Just relax. The act of looking at them isn't going to alter the outcome.
Start a new project or two, in case this doesn't pan out. Some of the best advice anyone will ever give you: have a few projects going at all times.
He is right.. Start more projects so you can have many things to stare at and worry about instead of 1

Sadly I am leaving my country permanently on August 15, and I do not have any time to start other projects. My goal is to get some spore prints from this amazing aggressive genotype, and perhaps eat a few underaged shrooms that have been fruiting for a few days. Ideally I'd want them close to being done on August 8th. I have to nail my fruiting tek. One user told me not to dunk them, since they might still not be fully consolidated, and it won't really effect growth speed that much, only delay it by a day.

You're going to be cutting it very, very close. I don't think you'll have fruits, never mind mature fruits that you can print, by the 8th of Aug.
Whichever country you find yourself in, I can send you a few spore prints to help you out.

That is very kind of you! I think I will be travelling by bus through Europe to the UK, so I might just bring my spore syringe with me. Well in that case anytime between August 8 to 14 would be viable. Well that should become clear by the end of this week. I have a plan on how to initiate pinning faster, since I live in a house, our first floor is technically a basement, that place would be about 15 degrees celsius cooler, and with substantial auxiliary humidity, there is a window for indirect sunlight too. I'd be venting the CO2 about 8 times a day every day. I think that might do it. Anyway, I'll post a pic of how the jars look like this thursday/friday

I am still working on it. placement wise I think the cubensis don't need any temperature shock to initiate pinning, so I'll probably leave them in my room (not the cleanest place ofc.) so I can vent the chamber every hour or so. I'll also be using about 1 liter of perlite for just my 3 jars, so that I don't deprive them of humidity while venting so much. I will post pictures of my setup, and any tips before I start making it are more than welcome. I do not plan to buy a lot of supplies for this however, since I'll be discarding them anyway.

Read this thoroughly. It will tell you why perlite is only used on a sgfc, and is useless unless used like how it is done in a sgfc.
All you need is a screw driver and a blow torch if you don't have a 1/4" drill bit and drill

Would you at this point recommend I setup a shotgun chamber? I do have a drill with any kind of bit imaginable and I'm able to reach the chamber at least every 2 hours at daytime since I work from home.

Get er ready! why not? When it's ready show a pic of it with no cakes in it yet. We'll tell you if you need to do anything more.

I suggest a properly constructed SGFC. If you choose to skimp on certain aspects of it because you'd like to buy minimal supplies, it may very well effect the outcome.

With much respect, I will try to take your suggestions as seriously as possible. What aspects of the SGFC would one skimp on though? I'm only using 3 cakes, so I don't really need a huge container. I can drill the fuck out of it too. I'm gonna be using 1 liter of perlite, that should be plenty for 3 half pint cakes. Well yeah I'll just build something and repost here once I have some pic's. At the moment I'm still busy finishing a website for my business soo.. maybe on friday.
EDIT: I am planning on using a saucer with water to put the cakes in, once they start pinning. (because I will be skipping the dunk).
EDIT2: Just asked my friend to snap a pic of a jar, looks like rhizomorphic growth is taking place, not sure what to think of it since I've read mixed opinions.

Yea.. You are trying to just wing this and we have TEK's for a reason
Don't leave your cakes in standing water
Dunk and roll them in verm
Build a PROPER Fruiting chamber. If you cant afford a 66qt mono tub, you can build nearly any plastic box into a tub. Just post a picture of it on here and we will help you modify it. I highly suggest you stay away from what ever you are planning.
Also, who ever you are getting the other opinions from, ignore them and listen to the people in this thread.

Well after further research into older thread I think its conclusive that this kind of rhizomorphic growth is actually good for the cubes, and is probably the best case of growing I could have expected. Should be 100% in 24 more hours. So I'll probably try and not fuck it up by abstaining from the TEK everyone is telling me to do.

Rhizomorphic growth vs tomentose has no baring on anything at this point.
You usually get rhizomorphic growth when the mycelium is searching for food. So, the less nutrients where the mycelium is, the more rhizomorphic growth.. Sometimes not at all.

How do you know it will be plenty? You've never grown before.
You need 4-5 inches of perlite at the bottom of your sgfc in order to maintain adequate humidity

Well it looks like it took 8 days for the jars to visually fully colonize... I'm gonna take them home tonight and start making the SGFC, I think some pins are starting to develop O.o Obviously I won't be dunking them for another few days... unless.. I guess I'll see some aggressive pinning in all of my jars

When jars pin before fully colonized and consolidated, it is usually a sign that it has encountered a contamination. Keep an eye on the spots that are not colonized.

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=21985567&page=0&vc=#21985567 I'm moving this conversation over to that thread, since I guess it would be more relevant, as this is not a contamination issue any more.
