Syringe with tap water

Hi,
yesterday I made my first spore-syringes (7 syringes) from a spore-print. the question is, is tap water gonna affect the spores in a bad way ?
I made it by tap water, instead of distilled water. (pressure cooked the water in a shut-glass for about an hour )
P.S, all steps and the whole process was 100% sterile and clean. Glove-box, Sanitizer, antiseptic air, clean and sterile gloves, flame-sterilizing the needle, .etc. so my only question is about tap water.
Thanks, sorry if my English sucks or so.

Your English is fine. So are your syringes. I have never had a problem with my tap water, however I live in an area with very very clean tap water straight from Lake Michigan. I would bet they will be ok unless you have some kind of heavy sulfur content or fucked up well water that hasn't been filtered. Even then as long as it's sterilized I'd bet it would roll.

You should be fine. I usually make my syringes by boiling water for about 5-10 minutes. Filling the syringes as the water is boiling. I clean them this way also. By filling them with the boiling water. Letting them sit for 1-2 minutes. Then spraying it out into the sink. I do that several times before leaving the syringe full and allow it to cool over night before making my spore syringe.
The tap water were I live is pretty hard and I have yet to have a problem.

thanks for the replies actually my worry was about the same thing, my tap water is very hard, as an analyzer said once.
and we use an additional water-softener for drinking water. but I guessed the outlet of this device may contain chloride or other substances, cause the filters contain chemicals for disinfecting water too. So I decided to use tap water.
Anyway thanks, really helped my mind get free of bad thoughts.

hi again, thought it doesn't need to be in a separate thread. My syringes look like this after shaking :

please take a close look at those floating stuff.
right before inoculation, shook the hell out of the syringe I was going to use, and it became like the image posted. this things float and if left for a minute or so, they join together and make a bigger clump (whatever it is).
is it normal ? are they just hydrated spores or what ? BTW, these syringes were made a few days ago if that matters.

Why not just use distilled water?

Tap water in the United States often contains chlorine and fluorine. Probably different where you live but I recommend distilled water.
You're syringe looks OK. I recommend smoking a little medicinal mj and chilling
