Yeah...I only trip a few times a year, mostly in the summer. I have cactus, AL-LAD, LSZ, and DMT, so I kinda rotate substances. So my active mushroom needs are literally next to nothing.
I do love gourmet mushrooms though. Black Poplar has been a favorite of mine since 2012. Wish I could have better success with button mushrooms. Not had much luck with those.

How often does the fogger turn on, and for how long?
I thought about making a new fruiting chamber, until I realized the amount of money I'd be pouring in just to get test equipment. That's why I think green houses are far superior. It's a lot easier to work with a bigger space over a small one in a tub. The size of the container will greatly effect it. That's why you can do invitro with jars by leaving the lid loose, but if you did that on a green house or a mono, you'd definitely see major fae problems.
Also the reason why foggers suck is how do you know if you're over hydrating or under hydrating it? Using your eyes, you can variably change how much you mist, where you mist, and choose to even mist or not. A fogger just blows it out until it's programmed to stop. Which makes it far inferior to just using a squirt bottle.

I used to use this fogger in conjunction with my greenhouse. Like most of my hobbies, it got a bit out of control. I was growing oysters, Black Poplar, Portabello, you name it. I was successful enough that we were inundated with edibles, so my wife insisted I dial it back.
Anyway, this is a "just for shits and giggles" setup. In fact, I even have the computerized controller for temperature and humidity, so I can dial any temp or RH I want. I could install the sensor through a "three-way" PVC coupling stuffed with polyfil so I wouldn't even lose any air exchange in that spot.
This morning, as indicated in an earlier post I set up a fairly large computer fan which draws air OUT of the tub, and IN through the poly-stuffed PVC...so there's LOTS of fresh air exchange. If I turn on the fogger and the fan at the same time, I can see the fog exit the tub, showing that it works and fresh air is being drawn in.

LOL! Nope. Not a thing. Just bored waiting on this grow, so posting shit to pass the time is all.
If it was nice I'd be playing golf or swimming or something...but it's pouring rain. Got nothing better to do than tinker in the basement.

Yeah, I was using a setup like this, I just searched online until I found an ultrasonic humidifier that I could modify and hose directly into my FC. It ended up being pointless because I couldn't find an electronic timer that could turn it on full blast only 1 minute every 30mins, which is what I really need to dial it in.

I shut it down to go bulk. Now there's just tubs everywhere. It doesn't look half as cool.

I feel your pain. That's the benefit with the manufacturer-specific heat/humidity controller. They work together like a charm since they were designed for each other.
I found my prior oyster mushroom grows to be a fruit fly magnet. Holy crap! That's why this setup is virtually sealed shut. Last thing I need is a last-minute contamination from some annoying bacteria-laden bug.

I get it that you're one of those guys who just has to do it, but I can bet everything I got that you would see better results in a normal monotub. When this fails/is too much work/doesnt satisfy you dont get upset and give up but just build a normal mono and see how easy and chill it really is.
just have fun and good luck man!

I've done it every which way. PF, SGFC, monster monotub, and greenhouse. Frankly, they all had their place at the time, and every one produced to my complete satisfaction.
Again, if I get a paltry yield out of this, who cares? I had fun doing the experiment. Fact of the matter is it's now set up as "fire and forget." The lights are on a timer, the sensor is in the tub, the fan is pulling FA nicely, and RH cycles on and off and maintains RH between 92 - 95%. I can ignore it for the next 10 days if I want.
Sensor is black rectangle on right.

Here's the programmed RH readout.

Completely effortless from this point on. What the heck are ya supposed to do but tinker around the house on a rainy day anyway?

Ahem...no. Going to knock up some grain with Black Poplar from my agar stock tomorrow (grains soaking right now) then spawn to rehydrated wood pellets in bags like this:
