A friend came to me with some mushies from a field that I need identified. He got a bunch of Cubensis which I am 100% positive on that I.D. so im not going to post them. But he also found some possible Pan Cyans But im not sure and need a second opinion.
The first two pictures contains some that I believe to be Pan Cyans but im not positive as I have little experience with those. They were all found on cow dung in Florida after a couple days of rain.
The next 2 pictures look like Cubensis to me because of the orange cap but I am not sure as I cant find a purple veil ring (could have just rubbed off tho) and they look slightly off for some reason. So I would like another opinion on those as well.
Thanks you to anybody who contributed to identifying these.

 Back of Cubensis
I already identified these as P. Cubensis.

They aren't cyans. Probably an inactive Panaeolus species.

And the ones you've labeled "possible cubensis" aren't P. cubensis. Not active.
At least you got a few good cubes though, congrats!

Get a spore print from any Panaeolus mushrooms that you're interested in. If they were Pan. cyanescens, you'd know it almost immediately. They give mushrooms the "cyan-" prefix for a reason, they are some of the most vividly blue-bruising species of mushrooms. Look for Pan. cyanescens in dung. I'd start with wherever those cubes in the bottom pic were found.

My Italian tour is already arranged for next spring & I'm going to do the whole goddamn trip wearing a bright red field marshal's uniform & accompanied by six speed-freak bodyguards bristling with Mace bombs & when I start talking about American writers & the name Tom Wolfe comes up, by god, you're going to wish you were born a fucking iguana!" - Hunter S.
