pink/blue or yellow oysters dont require cold shock at least in my case, and I wasnt aware of any that did

hey thanks for the info, when I was researching I saw traditional oysters could around 70F but wouldn't fruit optimized unless around 50F.

I grew pink oysters in my garage with temps routinely around 90-103 degrees. Right after mixing the spawn with straw I just put em out there and let them do there thing. When they started to pin, I put them in a SGFC and sprayed and fanned once in awhile. I didn't need to do to much though. Being in the garage the ambient humidity was always about 55%-85% depending on the time of the day, and air circulation was pretty good. I'll see if I can find some pics.

I also tried P. ostreatus and they really liked it at around 55 degrees.
