Why do my Tampanensis truffles look greenish?

Well here it is! This is from one of my jars but almost every Tampanensis jar looks similar to this. Started from a multispore syringe and I believe this is from the first g2g transfer. rye to whole oats

Mine do that, but it's more of a mix between grey and yellow. They should look better once you harvest them.
Looks kinda like bruising too.

Yeah, because it's a mycelial mass, and your looking into the heart of it, it's going to have a off color.
Normally we are used to seeing the skin like coating on stones, but when they form against glass they don't form a skin layer between itself and the glass. So we see the heart of the stone.

The heart of the stone... Those were some poetic words dude. Damn it's pretty cool to see all these stones forming. I currently have about 18 Tampanensis jars and I think I might do a monotub with a couple jars
