TRICH!!!

So surprisingly, I have just encountered my first trich tub after coming back from a 3 day trip. I am super dissapointed as its only the second flush, but the substrates definitely taken over half the side so far, and all the fruits have fallen over or beginning to. It sucks because these are HUGE giant fruits. If theres no visible green on some of them, are they safe to salvage from the not so "trichy" side? Or do I needa toss everything. I'm asking cause theres a few nice clusters of very large fruits that are definitely dieing (as they are beginning to flop over) but theres no trich present on them nor have they rotted yet. Please let me know! Thx so much

If there is no visible trich on the fruits, remove the fruits, rinse them off, and dry them right away (food dehydrator/quick hydration) not air dry.
I have done this and its fine.

Thanks MajikMuff,
So theres no actual green trich present on the fruits, however, there is white fuzz spots, which definitely do not resemble the standard "white fuzzy mycelium" which sometimes occurs more towards the base. I am guessing it is some type of mold. Is there any possible solution such as with peroxide and cobweb mold? Could I possibly rinse them in peroxide to be safe and then dry? Or are they worthless? Definitely don't want any of my friends getting sick, but if its possible, and not deadly, i'd like to try salvage them.

To add, an interesting observation is none of the fruits have dropped any spores. I had beautiful large pins that were blossoming, then left for a few days. Once returned, I found flopped over large fruits that had seemed to die just as the veils were beginning to tear, but no spores to be found.

If the viels tear at all and the gills are visible, whether or not you can see any spores, im pretty sure they have released 'some' spores.
I have had big balls of mycelium that was spiky at the base of fruits on a trich contaminated tub before.
Take pics, it might just be mycelium

Im pretty certain its not mycelium. The more I look at it, the worse its looking. Instead of being evenly disturbed, "fluffy" white fuzz, its more compacted into little clusters; resembling the green trich on the substrate, just white instead of green. However, from the first pic its clear that the green trich hasn't reached the fruits yet, though there definitely is something not ideal present on them.. Here's pics I just took. Its crazy how it just devoured one side. I wonder where I went wrong. This was a clone test, from a pretty old mycelium culture, so i'm guessing the mycelium was weak to begin with.

That's just a combination of not enough fae and them getting aged. They're still fine. In fact Trich is edible too as well as a major decomposer for soil. So you don't even have to worry about them even if they have Trich on them.
I'm going to guarantee that they won't grow anymore. Probably haven't for awhile. Pick them and get that tub out now. That's way more Trich than what you would ever want.

Okay, so as long as theyre not green, i'm good to go, despite there being uneven white growths on the fruit stems? If you look at the closeup shots you can see it better on the stems, instead of being the typical fuzzy myc from lack of FAE, they look more like dots. To me, it seems like another type of mold. Also, there was a few fruit flies that managed to find their way into the tub. Don't know if this adds to the safety of harvesting them or not. Would a quick peroxide was do anything to better assure safety? Or is that just a stupid idea?

Yeah its mycelium. Trust me it isn't trich. That shit looks more granular/sandy. Not fluffy like that.

Probably shouldn't clean them. Dry them and any debris will just fall off after drying

Trich happens and thrives in stale air. Since you did not have enough fae, it not only made the mushrooms look like that, it made the trich explode.
Are you running a fan in your room? Or do you have all the holes stuffed too tightly?
