Packing the holes TOO tight? Is there such a thing?

I've never read of it being a problem on here..I just loosened up the polyfill on the top 2 holes to where there is BARELY anything in there (was thinking of ditching them) but the bottom holes are SUPER tight..If I blew through them a small amount of air MAY get through.
I have dry rings around the top holes and one side has a line down to the substrate (I rotate the tub daily for even FAE exposure)...
Problem?
I haven't had any yet, just curious

If you have to rotate for even FAE exposure then you're not getting FAE in the first place

Shouldnt the fill for the bottom holes be as loose as possible? Im asking because I have tub that hasnt started pinning after 12 days, even though it colonized the top layer in like 6-7. Yesterday I tryed pulling them out and fluffing them up as well as adding 2 more holes.
Im just wondering if OP says maybe he may get some air through them by blowing then wouldnt the FAE be even better with puffy fill? Or is the dilemma too much moisture loss then?? Do you consider dry rings/line to mycelium the only thing needed for it to be "perfect" or do you have other tell tale signs?

Sounds like you should look up the principles of monotub operation.

Wow, you sir! You managed to surprise me, well done! And thank you for the pointer, much obliged
EDIT: YES, this is the one I was remembering scimming when I asked. Notice he says it should be pretty fluffy.

I rotate because the fan is pointed at a wall, so I distribute that. Same with light...it's coming from a window so I adjust it everyday so each side receives the same thing
