Curious on your guys opinions on the truffles shelf life..
I got a total of 20 15g packages today in the mail. It was two or three weeks ago when i ordered them, they are all vacuum sealed, but two had air and mold on the truffles.
The truffles are smaller than i thought they would be. I plan on dosing next week on tuesday, are these safe to put in the freezer, then unfreeze and dose with them?
Im super psyched to do these, I didn't think they would come, so i did multiple orders, and the one order that did ship, they shipped it twice so two packages with different tracking came, i thought only 10 15g bags were coming.
Weighed the bag with it vacuum sealed, was 22.5g
I plan on taking a whole 15g, they are atlantis looking for a level 3 or 4 trip, may have to do some caapi to make it happen.

Sealed "Magic Truffles" should be OK in the fridge for a week or two, this is fine for short term storage but the exact shelf life will depend on the condition they arrived in (sometimes they start to look a bit slimy due to condensation in the bag, and they can start to get surface white patches from mycelium growth, but generally they should be OK as long as they don't have obvious mould or a yucky smell).
They can be frozen but they might defrost into a bit of a mushy mess (due to the water content)....although they could be made into tea before they are completely defrosted.
They can also be dried for longer term storage, but dried stones are rock hard and inedible so will need grinding before eating (or some other preparation).
I don't have any personal experience with freezing or drying them, but there are various suggestions in these threads:

idk about 'sealed' stones. but from home grown I wash/dry them and put them in a paper bag in the fridge and they're good for months.
think of it like food, it will degrade, try to slow it with air exchange (paper bag) and cool temps (fridge). try to just wash the mold off, dry and store more properly (shouldn't be in plastic).
ps I say take more if you want a level four, unless these are like some stones I've never had before

Ok sweet thanks for the tips, i put them straight into the fridge when they came today. I plan on going into lakes country and camping and tripping with my sister.
After inspection of all the 20 bags that came, they weighed 22G each. May be more than 15G in the bag, i don't think the bag weighs 7 grams..Two of the bags, were sealed, but somehow had a pinhole or some type of a hole in it, one was full of mold, the other one looked like it may have mold on it.
I threw them out, the others looked ok. If I didn't have to work tomorrow i would take them tonight. It took two weeks after they were shipped to get to the states, and it took a little less than a month to get them after I sent the money through bank transfer.
Havn't taken shrooms in 6 months now, hoping for a level 4 trip. 15G of these atlantis truffles do it for me? I have some caapi leaves that I can smoke while i am coming up if needed, I also have some grade a dank weed that will be used during the trip.

Depends, potency varies; sclerotia can be cultivated for longer to make it more potent. Standard ballpark conversion is that 15g of sclerotia = 3g cubes....but not all commercial stuff lives up to this. 15g is generally a standard dose for a medium-strength trip, except for the more potent stuff which gets marketed under made-up names like Hollandia.
If it's generic "Atlantis" and the supplier isn't making any great claims about the potency, then a 15g dose might be something like 2 or 2.5g cubes, at a guess.
Personally, if I had those bags of sclerotia and I wanted a level 4 trip, I would be thinking of something closer to 30g.
Occasionally a 15g dose is enough for a strong trip...but not often. For a beginner I'd say "play safe" and stick to a lower dose, but if you're a regular tripper then you might want to consider a 20-something gram trip to gauge the potency....like you say, you've got the caapi and the weed if you want to boost things.
See also this post for more on sclerotia potency.
