Ways to filter agar before the pc cycle

So I'm lookin for ways to filter agar before I fill my media bottle so I don't get flakes in my plates.
I've read coffee filters... But that's fucking slow as hell.
I've got a metal mesh screen but I feel likeflakes will get thru.
How do you experienced pourers filter pre cycle?

i dont filter anything or pre boil literally take glass bottle i pour from add tap water, room temp, cold, don't matter add flakes, add dex, shake it up, cover in foil>PC
same with ground dog food or sawdust. swirl btw plates when pouring. the sediment falls to the bottom of the plates.
edit: for slants, i do pre boil, but i still don't filter.

I've seen people call them sharks before. You see those little flakes in the agar? Not the marker, myc, or bubbles. The little flakes suspended in the agar.
I want to get rid of them to have a clearer plate. Any ideas?

I personally don't see anything.
Whip the agar mix harder before cooking
Agar looks fine to me

So, do what I normally do? I'll mix and boil first than pour into my media bottle.
I thought we had to filter?

I never do. You can use a coffee filter and to make it go quicker a side car flask and a vacuum pump.
If you PC agar too long like 25+min you might get some shit drop out
