Chiang Mai, Thailand Actives ?
    #21950411 - 07/16/15 04:03 AM (8 years, 6 months ago)

Habitat: All found in water buffalo pen growing on shit

Gills: All are pretty much black/dark purple/grey

Stem: White to yellow stems from what I can tell, many are heavily bruised/oxidized

Cap: Several species (please see pics)

Spore print: Haven't done any as most species have been dried out quite thoroughly but just by looking at the gills they would be black/dark purple

Bruising: All are bruising

Location: Chiang Mai, Thailand

I'm pretty sure I've got some actives but I'm just not sure what species. I swear I've seen these dried species before on here. The pins I believe are cubes (I know not to pick pins but I'm pretty sure most the locals here don't touch magic shrooms)

Are there any suspects in here, and what species are these shrooms? I think there are at least two different ones, not including the cubes?

Definitely look active. I would say Panaeolus cyanescens or another strong active Panaeolus sp.

Legend Signeg, hope its fruiting well down in Perth! I think they're Cyans too, also forgot to add these two - came across them in a rice paddy field and they're also bluing quite hard

I'm not an expert at Panaeolus sp. so best to wait for a TI. But if they're bruising blue like it looks like then I'd say they're a potent "blue meanie"

Nice finds :super:.

Enjoy Thailand :sunny:

Copelandia, active. Toss any that aren't bluing or post them here for ID.

The mushrooms in picture number 3 are gorgeous. That little handful should be enough for a decent trip. They don't all look exactly the same though, so I'd follow MidnightCity's advice and only eat the ones with visible, unmistakeable bluing.

They all blued like crazy, had probably half a handful at first, hit level 1 or weak level 2 (strong bodily feels and CEV). Had another half handful after 1-1.5 hours of taking initial dose and that really didn't do much. I was way too reckless handling them and they lost a ton of potency from the oxidization. May hit up the same spot again if heavy rains come in otherwise will be heading to a nearby town that apparently sales cubes openly.
