He said he's considering coming back, to get offers, UFC and Bellator im sure have already sent him offers.  They are going to offer him alot, and he has alot of options, and alot of interesting fights.

And fedor could easily have another run, there's a bunch of other fighters who have done it, one of them is the UFC champ as we speak, same age as fedor, which makes it interesting because he beat fedor, would be interesting

That fight night was a decision factory.  I speak for everyone: Holly Holm needs to open up.  I think there's hope that she could be something of a Joanna Jedrzejczyk of the bantamweight division.

But yeah, Frank Mir probably has one of the best highlight reels of active UFC fighters for sure.  Plenty of submissions and knockouts, including ones from his older fights they never show.

And another yeah, so stoked about TJ Dillashaw versus Renan Barao.  Their first fight was one of the best title fights of last year, IMO.

art, do u know ben saunders?

anyway, stop making excuses for mendes everyone! yes, he ACCEPTED the fight on short notice. but he started training prior to that in case someone pulled out. conor is legit, n fought with an injured knee!

Yessir! I grew up down the street from him and my wife grew up 4 doors down  we all went to school together.
Matter of fact, Ben's dad took us to our first pro MMA event! It was a Bellator (when Ben was fighting over there) and I got to meet all kinds of awesome people at that show!!!!

what happened is he's returning and he's gunna whoop some fucking ass. i hinted at it weeks ago with my last post in this thread and people acted like they didn't even see it so i never explained any further.

Dude said hes thinking of coming out of retirement, and then that picture leaked out today, which is basically him saying he's pumped and ready, looks like a killer

yo mak, I think everyone ignored the fedor comment cause for YEEEARS, fedor fanboy's have talked about him coming out of retirement. so I kinda just read that n was like "heeeeeere we go again", but youre actually right dude. I read an article with his manager and theyre actually considering their options now. he actually said that the possibility of fedor coming to the ufc is really good. so damn!

I mean, its cool n all, but the ufc really fucked up on signing fedor when it was a couple years back, before those couple of losses, when he was the scariest dude alive.

yep, still gunna be awesome tho, he can redeem all his losses, give arloski or w/e his weird ass name is a rematch.  I mean 1 fight maybe 2 and he basically deserves a title shot.

Interestingly verdum already wants time off, he mentioned a 4 man tourny while he's gone.  I almost wonder if he said that because of this fedor news.  Would be fucking awesome for fedors comeback to be a heavy weight tourny like the old pride days.  Only thing that would make it better is if they made it a ring match instead of a cage match, just to go retro for fedor.  As far as i know they can actually do that according to the rules, they just use the cage because they think it looks better or something along those lines

I wouldn't imagine Fedor could compete any more. There are plenty of tough heavyweights that don't swing from the hips nowadays.

From what I've read, the UFC made significant efforts to try and sign the guy including offering seven figures per fight payments.  The lapse for never fighting in the UFC was in Fedor's camp.  And he lost three fights in a row badly to guys who are all in the UFC now.

I'd love to see him fight UFC and he'd obviously sell some PPVs, but I highly doubt that he's the destroyer that he was a decade ago.

half the people in the HW devision are just as old as he is, the champ is almost as old as he is.  In my opinion he destroys everyone but cain, werdum might pull it off again too but i think he looses the standup so he has to force the takedown. arloski could be some trouble too i suppose because of how big he is, big browne too.

I mean the HW devision is dangerous, mark hunt, big country, but to me when you watch fedor fight, even in the fights he lost, the style he had the way he moved, he was quick and powerful.  arloski has looked pretty slow recently, frank mir dam near looks like a zombie how slow he is or maybe its just how akward he looks when he throws.  All i know is fedor is easily Top 5 at HW and its anyones guess on who wins against the top 5.  His main problem comes from people so big and strong that they manhandle him, hendo was just a 1 in a million punch you don't see coming that would daze anyone, and the giant guy was like 100 lb's heavier and on roids.  Point im trying to make is his downfall wasn't nearly as bad as it seemed, and the HW devision is actually pretty dam weak now that cain got taken out, JDS lost too many brain cells, werdum been talking about retirement and doesn't seem to really want the title, fedor can just swoop in there, take that shit, and complete his legacy

well. it looks like tj dillashaw is the real deal. part of me thought MAYBE the first fight was a fluke, that if tj hadn't landed that big punch in the first, things may have played out differently. but NOPE, dude laid another BEATING on barao.

cruz should be returning by the beginning of next year. I hope they make the tj/cruz fight before they do the tj/assuncao rematch.
