I do 120 minutes at 15 psi.

I am doing 12 jars, 10 half pints and 2 regular pints because I ran outta half pints, I guess ill do 90 minutes..... might even split the difference and go 75
also, I used jar lids as well as the rack to elevate the half pint jars but they are about halfway maybe a little less in the water, is that going to be ok and if not what do you guys do when using half pint jars?

I went with 90 minutes, whats 15 more minutes at 3 in the morning right?
after the pressure drops, do you take the jars out and let them cool in the SAB or leave them in there(PC) to cool off

Well, I don't necessarily recommend this, but after the pressure drops and they are cool enough to handle I put them on a shrine to cool of over night. My success rate has been pretty damn good too.
But yeah a lot of people move them directly into their SAB (once cool, otherwise the heat may affect airflow.

90 minutes is the minimum, but it should be 120. Most don't realize how truly important the sterilizing process is.
Pressure cooking doesn't even guarantee sterilization, just gives you a time frame to work with.

For BRF PfTek jars 90 minutes in a PC is fine. I agree, things like whole grains, WBS may need longer.
Also, I would say after 90 minutes in a PC the jars will be sterile. At least with BRF/verm , possibly not grains depending on the rest of the prep considering endospores.
I leave mine (Pf jars) in the PC with the weight on until ready to use. If doing grains I take them out when they are still pretty warm and shake them to redistribute moisture.

I leave mine in the PC with the weight on until I'm ready to inoculate...I used to take the weight off and lay an ISO soaked paper towel over the PC vent, but I'm a little paranoid by nature.

The only reason I do that is to prevent shit from landing on top of the jars. Even if they are covered with foil I know when I remove them (pf jars) I know the outside is still clean as well...

after this round of PF jars in the PC, they look weird, like one or two of the jars were SOAKED inside, I think im just going to go back to sterilizing in a pot with steam.
and next time I do grains, which will be tomorrow, I am going to make sure I shake to redistribute the moisture, which I inadvertently did this last time because some of the jars clumped up a little bit. I gotta make sure I do it again this time.
I hope the jars I have done so far in my PC take, I have followed all the directions to the T with preparation and I know the grains weren't too wet when placing them in there, so they should be good.
how long till you see growth on grains?

Depends on a lot of factors...type of grains... If it's multispore...etc.. That being said... Before I switched to G2G... When I still inoculated with MS...I usually saw growth within a week...but fair warning... That can swing wildly in both directions. Fastest I saw growth...3 days...Slowest...3 weeks...with WBS...overnight soak...and simmered. Oh and I made that mistake too...now I always shake the grains after pressure cooking to redistribute moisture... Once the PC cools off a few hours that is...then place back in PC to cool overnight. I'm thinking about doing a side by side test when I get time... Soaked only vs Simmered vs Steeped (Fooman's way)
