The irony of Organic Foods

Yesterday I was with a dear friend, who has chickens. He is so proud of his organic eggs so he made me a treat: fried organic eggs on organic whole wheat bread.
Guess.
Guess again.
The bread had a piece of gravel in it. I broke a big tooth square in half.
The egg? It was bacterially infected. I promptly projectile vomited on the breakfast table, several times.
He was so embarrassed! Poor he! Poor me.
He brought me home and P orojectile vomited the contents of my upper bowel in my sink on arrival. I won't tell him not to guilt trip him.
All night I couldnt sleep with pain. I'm knackered.
This morning: emer5gency visit to the dentist. Emergency, its gonna cost me extra.
He had to drill the tooth to pieces and break them off then yank out the three roots individually. They were so deep that he wondered if the hole extended into my nasal cavity. It didnt.
The anesthetic didnt work fully so I had a lot of sensation of those roots being pulled.
I came home, euphoric with endorphin and sleep deprivation. Like a real trooper I whisteled the Colonel Bogey March, the marching song that gave allied soldiers courage during World War 1, battles fought a hundred years ago less than a hundred miles from here.
Here it is, in honor of the fallen:
I dont blame my friend, or God, or the Devil, or anything. I'm gonna be a trooper about this. Metaphorically, God kicked that tooth outta my mouth with a jackboot, and bless you Sir, I forgive you. Thats what being a Believer is about, not just the glory but also rolling with the punches. I'm biting down on my second gauze, my blood thinners keep the blood running, I spit it in a glass next to me. No regrets.
I wish you well for this wonderful day.
Big hugs fpr you all

Damn, talk about bad luck! Cracking a tooth sounds miserably painful.
I always eat farm eggs when I have the choice. I know what you mean about getting a bad egg every once in a while. Never projectile vomited from the eggs, but I have gotten sick. It's happened maybe 1-2 times ever. Small price to pay for farm eggs in my eye, which have more nutrients and flavor.

Don't know if that has to do with the fact that they were organic.

In the second world war the british sang "Hitler - has only got one ball!" to it, but the song is from 1914 and the cheerful heroics of it lured a lot of youngsters into the meatgrinder that was the Great War.
The tooth had a huge mercury filling in it so probably good riddance of that filling. Sucks about the tooth though.
Yeah it was hilarious.

O.o
You ate a bacterially infected egg EW EW EW EW! why didn't you smell it? Doesn't he write dates of when the egg was laid? Yes, food spoils, haven't had it happen though. I love my chickens ... How did a piece of gravel fell into his breadbaking? Does he somehow harvest the wheat and pieces of rock come inbetween? Didn't he feel a hard piece when he was working with the flour? Sorry, i'm sure you didn't expect that to happen,
What a careless person. I like working in food industry so I tend to be immaculate when it comes to these things. Still mistakes can be made...
BUT OUCH! Root canals/tooth pain is one of the more painful things in life. Sorry about your tooth =(
I wouldve went with MXE/Lidocain on my gums!

FUCK YEAH I want on the methoxetamine teat now
The infection, it could have been salmonella, chickens can have that, the egg was freshly laid I'm sure. Food poisoning can do that, that you immediately expel it when it hits your stomach.
Saved me a ton of GI disturbances I think.

Once upon a time warp in a galaxy very, very, VERY far away that song was used by dink-dinks to cheer up a man, a Druish princess, a mog, and a robot as they marched across a desert planet.

Evil will never triumph, or it will end up destroying itself and become good.
All the power evil has is illusion.

there is no god to lean on, no devil.
its just the universe.
the universe has a pulse.
its not good nor bad... it just is.
it likes to laugh at us when we think we have it all figured out, so the universe is hardest on the wise.

How can you tell if it is spoiled, besides smell? Is this pretty rare? We buy farm fresh and are always pleasantly surprised by the quality.
