Anybody ever been so depressed that it was beyond depression, it was like entering a new territory, something that you'll never find your way out of. But its still your reality. No matter what you do, its staring you in the face, laughing. All your friends don't really give a shit because they're not there and they cant relate, but you still can, its becoming harder to bare, every minute, every second, but you dare not tell anyone, because in your mind " if they know im depressed they won't hang out with me anymore" mindset takes over, but at the same time, this is my reality. Anybody been there? I'm there right now. It's my reality. Like searching in life's lost and found.
All positive energy appreciated. Don't know if I have any myself.
Fuck this world.
Fuck God.

Hi man.
What your describing sounds like depression. Depression goes beyond sadness or just feeling kind of blue - which is what most lay people think of when they hear the word depression.
It does get better, but you may want to seek help if it is not tolerable and/ or you are contemplating life changing choices.
Good friends won't care that you are going through a rough patch at this time. They may in fact help you through it, if they are good folks. Those that are effected by your depression may not be the best of friends for you.
You will make it through this if you choose too. PM if you want. going to take a little cat nap, but always happy to listen to you if need be.
Peace to you.

Hello lowbro
I've felt this way you describe, and boy is it a crap feeling
Two things that I've found help;
Take one day at a time. It's so easy to be overwhelmed by all that you face. The main thing is that you can't and don't have to deal with it all in one day. Even if it feels like there's so much on your plate. For example, I sometimes would in my depression think this thought "I can't handle that I have to work for the next 5 days, I just can't do it!!" as I feel more and more depressed.
Well, it took some practice, but now when I feel that way I think all I have to get through is today (this work day). For example, it's like being on a roller coaster that has 5 Scary parts. Well instead of freaking out about the 5 you will face, you just take one at a time (don't let the thought of the 5th loop be added to when your just going through the 1st loop) because all you end up doing is making each loop worse then it has to be. My example may be crap but I do believe this way of thinking can help reduce depression a bit.
Also, do you have something you love doing?
If so try what I do. When your at school or work and not feeling the best. Think about that awesome thing you're gonna do later that day or at the end of the week. I find this helps because it gives you something to look forward to, much like hope. And that hope encourages and picks one up (even if only a bit, and sometimes that's all that's needed).
Talk to people about what your facing, but not everyone, cause some people don't understand depression and may end up not helping at all. Tell people you trust.
Lastly, don't forget that have a part to play. Work on how you think, work on what you allow your mind to think about. You may have to look at your life and assess what's helping and what's not, and then deal with those things if possible.
If you don't give up, you may find that at the end of it all, It was part of what made you a stronger person. Good luck and remember....... don't give up
