This cake doesnt even look fully colonized.. why did you took it out of his jar if you plan to give it another chance?? you exposed your cake to unsterilized air.
Even if thats an opinion of a newbie.

Looks like he possibly dunked and rolled after birthing or after the first flush. We need more info OP and hopefully a TC will chime in for ya.

They have had what they love most taken from them, be it freedom, love, money, or anything for that matter. When you lose your greatest love you also lose your greatest fear, when that happens you are completely and utterly free.

Thanks for your replies so far. Here's some more info.
It was fully colonized prior to fruiting. It even had that extra week it needs. It was dunked and rolled. One of it's brothers died of too much misting. I'm wondering if this one is okay.
It's been about 25 days since it was fruited.

25 days in fruiting with nothing to show for is not a good sign. Either it has some hidden contam that is inhibiting pinning or your conditions are not dialed in properly. I am going to suspect a hidden contam though because I've seen cubes fruit in some of the harshest of environments.

I concur, sir....if the cake was just too wet from over misting I would think it'd just be a kind of soggy, white cake. Not the reddish color u got there .....trash it. Unless I'm way off...
