Yeah, I mean good grow and all, but I bet if you'd have done it the standard way you'd have gotten more. Like I said, I used to do it the exact way you do. I ran tests using a proven isolate (using a dozen tubs for each one, I go big, hence the lack of pics) and it showed that the work is worth it.

I've also been on here for what, 13 years now? I've seen many a noob try to write a TEK. Most of them suck. This is how the main page got fucked up. You can get lucky a LOT with Cubensis. I've pulled off some shit that yielded well that shouldn't have.
Get yourself an isolate and run some tests.
Agreed, had I taken the time and effort to do a proper soak and simmer the grains would have more than likely colonized more vigoursly and led to a higher yield. Since I was using MS I was surprised by the total harvest weight. Cubensis is indeed easy to grow and quite forgiving from what I've read and slightly experienced. I've read many of your posts 36 and consider you and Azur fantastic contributers to this site. Even tho his avatar has great tits her face is just haha
I've dabbled a little bit with Agar but not enough to enjoy the wonders of an isolate yet alone one with great fruiting and colonizing characteristics. An isolate on agar is a sight to behold, it's symmetry is fascinating.
Your results would be a great read, but I understand if you care to keep it to yourself.

Well I didn't document it, lol. I just did a dozen of each, dried them separately then weighed it all. IDK exactly what the numbers were but it was clear that the work was worth it.

Gah! Some critters got a little curious, the way she goes I guess.

Put in a nice little pile and packed out the trash.

Covered with some leaves, maybe it'll help

Yep, the fuckin' way she goes.
This is why we use minimal spawn in outdoor patches. Squirrels are hungry motherfuckers. Not that less spawn keeps them 100% out of your patch, but it makes a bigger patch.
