Yeah I like some of The Grateful Dead's stuff. I definitely didn't get into them as much as a lot of people did but I really enjoy their albums from the early psychedelic years. (& some songs off of a number of their later albums) I'm guessing a good portion of it was a "you had to be there" sort of thing.
^ The Eleven. One of my favorite GD songs.
& on to a more psychedelic sound. Check this out:
(If for some reason your browser doesn't work, the song is called "Super Heep" by a band called Elephants Memory.)

Glad the Ash Ra Tempel could contribute to a heavy experience I agree it definitely needs to be listened the whole way through.
I'm digging the cosmic sounds by Zodiac. (Thanks for posting name, my browser still wasn't playing it haha)

Hello there. If you have some favorite psychedelic tracks from the 60's on your playlist feel free to post anything that you think would go good with the thread. Please keep it relevant though, that is all I ask. I hope you're doing okay. Peace & take care.
The Byrds - 5D
^ This is a little before the late 60's "edgier" psychedelic tunes but it paved the way for a lot of artists. Such a beautiful song. Not sure why but it brings tears to my eyes.
Another Grateful Dead tune. It is called New Potato Caboose. One of my favorite Grateful Dead songs. Brings back the memory of my first full-blown psychedelic experience. I put this song on before I smoked 20x salvia. I remember coming back from the void while the song was around the 5 minute mark. I will remember that day for a long, long time.
Take care everyone. I hope you all have a great weekend & that I get to hear from you all soon. Bye now.

Hey man. Glad you're back. I actually noticed the other day that it said you've been gone for I think like well over two weeks it was. I like Ultimate Spinach as well. My favorite song by them is either "Your Head Is Reeling" or "Genesis Of Beauty". Both excellent songs. Thanks a lot for bumping this thread. I was kind of disappointed when it died down for a couple weeks. I hope you're doing good & that you're having a good day man. Take care, I hope you stick around.
C.A. Quintet - Underground Music
Blue Cheer - Peace Of Mind (some of the guitar towards the end reminds me of Tony Iommi's playing.)
