Share some psychedelic music you like listening to from the 60's. The more obscure, trippy, and/or unknown the better.
I would like to try to make this an ongoing thread if possible so please help contribute if you are a fan psychedelic music. Thanks.

What a cool cover for an album/CD.
When I get more free time I will listen to the whole entire CD. Some songs that I liked: The Way, A Bird Lived, Crying Is For Writers, & Friendly Man. Listening to psychedelic music from that decade reminds me just how extremely different music was back then compared to the music of today. What a difference... it is like the total opposite & more. Guitar players will never play like that again, unless specifically trying to replicate the 60's psychedelic era sound.
These next two songs are not that unheard of but still awesome psychedelic tunes. If anyone likes these two songs, I highly suggest you check out the rest of the album. It is called "Wake up... It's Tomorrow" by the band Strawberry Alarm Clock. I hope everyone enjoys.
"We live in a world, of carnivals & clowns..." My favorite line from the above song.
I love the harmonies & singing. It is so nice sounding.

Your welcome man. I hope you enjoyed those songs. I like that album from the 13th floor elevators. My favorite songs are Splash & You're Gonna Miss Me. The song You're Gonna Miss Me is pretty easy to play on guitar.
Check these out:
& Thank you man. I thought there would be more psychedelic music lovers lurking the shroomery. Thanks for being one who contributes. I hope you have a good day & stay groovy my friend.

I most certainly did enjoy those tracks ! That band Gandalf is so sick , going to look into their discography. The last link isn't working for me though for some reason what band/song is it?
The others will come in due time & thanks buddy right back at you !
- These first two albums by Blue Cheer I have always greatly cherished.

The fuzz/wah sound in Blue Cheer is really awesome. I wish I could get that sound on my guitar.
This song is one of my favorites to listen to during a comeup.
@caman, the second song is called "Genesis Of Beauty" by Ultimate Spinach. That band Gandalf only has one or two CD's I believe.

For me, The Grateful Dead is a pretty hit or miss band. There are some albums I really like & enjoy listening to but there are also a lot of albums & songs of theirs that I don't care for. Some of it I just find sort of boring, same sounding, & even corny at times. I don't know, maybe you just had to be there in the moment to get it. Their stuff that I tend to listen to mostly is from when they first started up to to the mid 70's. But I also like a couple of songs from their later, older years. If you're interested in their more "psychedelic" sounding material check out their first few albums-especially Anthem Of The Sun. I feel like after their 1969 "Live/Dead" album they almost totally abandoned that sound & moved onto a more rock n roll/country/folk sound that they stayed with pretty much throughout their career-along with adding other influences along the way.
^ I used to be obsessed with that song. It sounds like a medieval, mystical fairy tail sort of sound to me. Skip to 2:00, that is when they begin playing.
^ I like the entire song but especially the words to the song.

yes ash ra tempel did record with Leary. According to the youtube poster it was while Leary was in exile in switzerland and the name of the album is seven up because he would spike the 7up with lsd. I have not researched into this stories validity though haha.

Both songs you posted there were great, I remember listening to some Electric Prunes a few years ago but totally forgot about them until now. Also thanks for the recommendations on the Grateful Dead discography , much appreciated man ! I will start checking their early albums.

Wow man. That Ash Ra Tempel CD is insane. Thanks a bunch for contributing that to the thread. I listened to the whole thing yesterday (the way that CD needs to be listened to.) on mushrooms & shit got pretty heavy. I'm going to check out more of their music.
(If for some reason your browser doesn't work on this link. The album is called 'Cosmic Sounds' by The Zodiac.) An awesome listen. Check it out.
