In the words of Borat, what-a-dis? What kind of contamination. Does it have a name? It's only in one out of my 10 cakes, after three weeks of fast colonization, so not a huge concern.

Could be fusarium. In which case you don't want to be breathing it in at all. You don't want that in your home. Shit can send you to the hospital just being near it. It can germinate and grow inside you

Thanks. I just thought I remember seeing some similar pictures and that perhaps these spots were quite common, although I had no idea what.
