GRAIN PREP/PCing

I followed RR's grain prep and Spitballs rye berry prep to the T, and for some reason when I PCed the grains, I feel like I got water in the jars, there isn't really any pooling in them or anything, they just look wetter than they were and they are definitely darker. Is this how they are supposed to come out?
also, how much water is supposed to be put in the PC?
how long can a prepped(before PCing) grain jar sit before PCing and still be viable when PCed. I put my fredshley soaked and boiled grains in my jars last night and PCd all but 2 of them, I want to know if I can still PC them and have them not contam.
thanks

Correct. It's normal for grains to be darker after a sterilization run due the intense heat that was applied to them. The moisture on the grains is normal as well. That moisture is just condensation from the media going from intense super heat of PC cycle back to atmospheric pressure.
Those other jars that weren't PC'ed will be fine to blindly PC up to 24 hours after being loaded into jars. Wouldn't wait too much longer after 24 hours.

Picture just so you can see. Thank you ham for taking the time to explain to me what is actually behind it, helping me to understand, I appreciate it. Ive been worried and almost actually tossed the jars because I thought they were bad. I guess only time will tell. Now, I just hope I didn't use too much Innoculant....
